I found this film on YT by accident but really enjoy it - The song was a favorite of my Mothers and it was still popular when I attended the Kodokan in Japan 1n '61 -Would like to have a copy - also, have looked for the old black & white samuri films - if anyone has a suggestion I would like to hear it - domo.
My Mother, who was from Amami Oshima, used to sing this. It also played on her music jewelry box. The very little Japanese I can speak includes this song! Arigato!
