@BuddLightbrain : Fine with me. Knock yourself out with Prius videos, or even better, why don't you shut off the volume on your computer so you can have your silencers..... PERIOD
@pegleg1992 Such ignorance is understandable from someone who lives in the graphical location identified, it would explain the ignorant comment and limited knowledge of English vocabulary!
@BuddLightbrain Considering my country invented the ENGLISH (England) language, your statement is foolish.
Your last reply to pepe190's comment was "as if we give a damn!"
This makes absolutely no sense in the context of the argument between you two and, as such, shows that it is in fact you that has limited knowledge of the English vocabulary.
@BuddLightbrain I assume you didn't look at my name and believed that I was pepe190 as I checked your profile and found out that we both share the same country of residence.
Regarding the tilt of the tach, it's so when the engine approaches the rev limit, the tach needle is pointing straight up. That makes it easier for the driver to see without having to take his eyes off the road.
OMG... what a great coillection of cars from the golden era of racing, and presented by the man himself. If only I could have a chance to drive one of those....
@BuddLightbrain. Is it really?? No racing car neither in the past nor present use silencers, and that was exactly what the DBR1 was, a RACING CAR!. By the way, back in the 50's, street use cars had silencers "ergo" they knew how to make them. Believe me, it would be rather strange to see today's F1 cars with silencers
tach was tilted because that brought the high revs closer to the twelve o'clock position, which is the usual shift point. The drivers could see it easier.
I'm sorry but Wagner Lockhead Disk Brakes were in use at the Indianapolis 500 in 1947 -1949 with the winning Blue Crown cars of Bill Holland and Maurie Rose.
Brits don't like this fact, and I expect this comment to be erased by the site owner. It's been done before.
Los coches son todos fantasticos.
El problema es tener que elegir uno de entre todos ellos.

@pegleg1992 Ignorance is never realised by the ignorant, thus no point in further explanation.
