I can only think of two logical reasons Fred's channel would be closed.

1. He was hacked (that's how you can tell a real hack from a fake, they don't upload videos bragging about. They either just shut you down or flood your channel with porno)

2. He just got tired of the character and retired it.

Fred is too popular to bury, and his old videos will be mirrored within a week. He was earning money hand over fist, and could live off the residual views from his channel, he is getting that many views.
