  • Great drawing! Im in fashion design and would love seeing you do a short clip on drawing different fabric designs with tiny detail such as houndstooth and herringbone.(If you havent already done so on your website). Great work!!!

  • Thank you.

  • thanks this is helpful. I was in art school last year they didn't teach me any of this. I'm reapplying to different art schools for next fall and really need to know this stuff. thank you.

  • you're very talented showing how to concentrate on the important parts of a good drawing.

i'm very impressed of your skills und i'm enjoying my development of being able to draw more and more after watching your videos because they show the main parts of art.

go on like that ! great work with great words

  • hmm good for beginners, didn't really cover how tension and stuff works though, which is my main problem. Its easy to put some lines in the corners but you'll be there all day trying to make it look real

  • Haha, It's Lesley! Thanks for teaching such incredibly kickass art skills! Seriously, my ability to draw anatomy increased tenfold~

    Made a youtube account just to subscribe~ : D

  • Wow. Incredible once again. Thanks for taking the time to post these! They really help!

  • im an art and your videos are very helpful for my drawing class!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah real people

  • Ive been drawing all my life, continuously, 6-8 hours a day(36 years..well, except those sticky years), and the plane aspect of your tutorial is essential for any one just starting out. Drawing creases in fabric is VERY tricky, and very rewarding once you've learned to do it "right"-and thats the thing, there really is no wrong way to represent the lines (contour) of the fabric, its how you shade it.If i didn't know this already, I might have learned something.Well done.

  • hello,

    nice what you do,

i like to draw and paint but it,s just a hobby,

i would like to have some tips, thanks

  • amazing! work

  • i really enjoy watching these videos,I noticed you have a few on light and shadow, but do you think that would help with doing a drawing that involves glass in a still life?

  • yes, absolutely, you should visit my website and consider purchasing my figure drawing dvd because i discuss light and shade extensively.

  • this is AWESOME

  • can you just name them quick without the explaination

  • do you mean when I speak in the video or when I type in video info?

  • What are those 10 to 12 things that's needed to be mastered to be good at drawing?

  • Way way too long to explain here. It's all on my DVD's

    Stay well

  • you are amazing!!

  • matt, i think you should put the lesson name on the title (where you put you site's url). I always click up part two before the part 1...

  • super skillz

  • Thanks for watching, awesome.

  • I was wondering where part one went to. :D Thank you again...so much.
