  • is really cute !! good job !!

  • can i have it

  • مع نفسك

  • COOL :)

  • That's awesome. I wish I knew how to make this costume from scratch.

  • Bumblebee :D

  • you should make it so the arms can visibly move

  • PLEASE MAKE A TUTORIAL!!!

  • @fwigoboards I didn't have a plan. I just winged it, until I got basically what I wanted. Check out pages 3-5-7 & 8 for info about the car. I would say that each car would be different based on who the costume is for. This was for my 6 y.o.. I went to walmart & got a boxes all shapes & sizes, kept lining them up & re-arranging until I thought it would work. For me I wanted him to have a costume where he didn't need someone else to "fix" it and put it back in place after he transformed

  • yes cpcomedy314 it is eco-friendly lol. He played with the car until Feb of that year. Something most kids don't do with their costumes. The headlights and tail lights were used again on the next years costume (optimus prime) most everything for the car was something that we had and re-used. :-)

  • If this kid came to my house, I would just take my candy bag from upstairs and dump the thing in.

    P.S is it an eco-friendly car? :D

  • lol make a tutorial i wanna be that its epic

  • **press closet lights avail at walmart.

  • that is so awsome! u r so great! howed u make the head ligths!?

  • @wargarkaz Thanks Not bad for a Mom who had no clue what she was doing or even what a transformer looked like....lol

  • @grapemom this is 1 of the best ivse seen so far lol

  • pretty nice but what about the arms?

  • Nice, and that's a happy son :)

  • @xurok Thank you ! My son wasn't the only person who was happy with the costume. It brought smiles to many! We even had kids who were in regular transformer costumes pose for pics with him. My son was happy to take the time and pose with them, Our costume added a lot to other kids costumes as well. :-}

  • lol awsome creative and the musik is hilarious

  • @Joshmaen Thanks. The music really made the whole costume stand out when he was transforming. People heard the music and stopped to see what was going on. We had people taking pics and movies and a lot of them were clapping. :-)

  • @grapemom its awsome man is that ur son ? when i was a kid i would flip out when my dad would build a transformer like that for me! :D

  • where are the hands for candy

  • verry creative and unike!!!

  • Great job! I'm trying to figure out why this looks more smooth than other cardboard transformers costumes on youtube. Did you put something over the cardboard before you painted it?

  • @ProBangers I didn't put anything over the cardboard except some yellow (or black where needed) duct tape to help keep the edges smoth and to help connect the boxes (or to hide flaws) I did use 2 coats of spray primer and 2 coats of yellow spray paint. In the past, I noticed the cardboard just soaked up the paint and left, even gloss paint dull. I tried the primer and it worked out great. I was trying to go for a more smooth look. Thanks for noticing :-)

  • If this kid came to my door he gets all the fucking candy in my house.

  • @kaptinkrunch47 Thanks! He did have a lot of fun with it and he also got extra candy (they gave me some as well for the effort) A lot of people liked seeing something different come to their house. :-)

  • sweet jesus.... i wish my parents were as awesome as you :'(

  • @FutureLAD66 I was awesome for the costume...... but he doesn't think I am so awesome when I want his room picked up LOL :-) thanks for the nice comment

  • you did a great job !

and you are the number 1 mom !

  • @bebecee1314 Thanks ! It was hard to figure out and I did get a lot of hot glue gun burns. But in the end it was worth it ! :-)

  • That is cool, I bet he was so happy

  • @VdibirtV Yes he was... I am sure it will be a halloween he will never forget :-)

  • Did he take you for a spin yet?

  • Can you drift?

  • can u send me blue prints

  • can u please send me the BLUEPRINTS

  • @theplavender I wish I had blueprints to send u. I can tell u the approx dimensions. 18" wide X about 12" tall for trunk & hood add 6-8 " for roof car about 4 ' long. I used 2-3" door hinges so hood could move. I used 2 push lights (walmart about 10.00) for headlights 2 reflectors for tail lights. Silver/chrome duct tape for all chrome. Lots of black, yellow & blue spray paint. I used black elec. tape for detail. Paper plates for wheels. roof of car glued to an old backpack that he wore.

  • OMG america transformers animated opening theme

  • ive made that before

  • What about, um, arms?

  • Nice construction!

  • rizzlelizzle89 Not only did he get a ton of candy but he also won a few contests.

  • Thats freakin' adorable.

  • I want one.......!!!!!its soooooooo cool!!!

  • jajajajXD

  • I want one.. :(

  • Thank you Jacobian07. We even found a real camaro and took his picture next to it. It wasn't yellow but it was still fun and it is a cool pic. I am sure if we were on the phone all day we could have found a yellow one, but we are happy to have found the red one and were able to get a picture. He was a hit every where he went . This will be a halloween to remember. Plus he now has a toy he can play in, now that halloween is over....LOL

  • i have to agree...Best Mom Ever!

  • @jacobian07 i accedently voted down

  • edwinproductions....No he did not have a radio in the car. That would have been too heavy. No Mom "thought" it would be a good idea to carry his boom box around all night while he transformed....LOL (what was I thinking...lol I would do it again though) Thank you for your nice comment

  • Thanks Cyrilcynder1 He loved it. I wanted it to be something he could transform by himself without me following him around fixing the car when he was in car mode. This was the end result. quick and easy and no parent getting in his way.....lol Thanks for your nice comment

  • there was a radio in it? this is awesome! BEST MOM EVAR!!

  • OMG!! you are the nicest mom in the world! bless you ^^

  • He thinks I am the greatest Mom..... I tried and he was happy in the end that is what matters. :-)

  • he was the happiest kid in the neighborhood.....town and maybe even the state !! LOL

  • OMG YOU ARE THE GREATEST MOM

    LOL

  • He must of been the happiest kid in the neighborhood...I love it!

  • this is an awesome costume i was a pancake

  • no arms?

  • tazbabie4. Thanks for he string idea. He does have a string (fishing twine) on the hood to pull it close. I never thought about making the string shorter to keep the hood up...maybe next costume...LOL Thanks for the nice comment

  • I love it! very good job! Just an idea, for making the hood come down, we tied a piece of string to ours which makes it stand up when in robot mode, (which for my costume made it look cooler) and then it comes down easier when transforming. just an idea to make it run smoother. But i do absolutely LOVE it!

  • *Cont,* I went thru 4 cans of primer & 1 can of blue, 2 cans black, & about 10 cans of yellow. Press on battery operated closet lights for headlights, from walmart about $10.00 for the pr. An old backpack is how he "wears" the car. 2 door hinges are how I make it transform. I used suicide doors in my design to make transforming easier & so I had less headaches...lol If costume is for a child keep the weight factor in mind when making it I did a lot of removing of excess cardboard.

  • *beczrus* Hi I really didn't have a pattern or anything. I just went to walmart & got a ton of boxes all shapes and sizes. My son is almost 50" tall the box when in car mode is 43" long. He's on his hands & knees when in car mode, so the car had to be tall enough for him to fit and be comfortable it is 12.5" tall and 20.5" wide. I actually used 3 boxes, use sturdy ones or make them sturdy by attaching boxes together either glue or duct tape. I used hot glue, duct tape to put car together.

  • How do you make these?!

  • DAYUMMMMM HOTTT.
