He's a small town fellow and just working up in the music world..I think he could of played in any metal band growing up watching him in his local gigs..The guy is from another planet and watching him live is a treat to behold..even years ago he was blowing away most signed metal guitarists. It's hard to explain how good he really is lol

I wager to say Ben can play anything with strings and wear it out. I've seen him tear a bass a new ass several times, a few while he was playing a guitar with the other hand. I took lessons from Ben in the early-mid 90's over at Bob's and agree he is one of the nicest guys around. I still have an Amazing Grace teeshirt, lol. How many saw him with DJ Rice here in Lex?

I also took lessons from Ben in the 90's. He is definitely one of the nicest and most unassuming guys I have ever met. If I am not mistaken, at that time he was playing mandolin in a bluegrass band, guitar in a heavy metal band, and guitar in a blues band. He lives to play.
