  • Front wheels come up, he shifts to 2nd, front end comes down, he's 2 feet from hitting the barrier and still has the nerve to shift to 3rd while correcting.

  • 4g63 all the way!

  • bugatti killer ;)

  • @CbN199409 i would say

  • can anyone explain me what a 6 bolt and 7 bolt is??

  • @nanjix 6 bolt and 7 bolt refers to the number of bolts that hold the flywheel to the crank. That is not the only difference between the two motors, some others are, the rods are different widths on the big end (Wider on the 6 bolt rods) and the 7 bolt runs 22mm wrist pins. There are other differences as well, but I can't remember them at the moment. In general summary the 6 bolt is the early type engine and the 7 bolt is the late type. I hope this helped!!! They both rock!!!

  • @devo4g63 thx for the info =D

  • @nanjix No problem, anytime.

  • i think mitsubishi's 4G63 engine is the best in the world ... perioid.. i mean look at this its hard to find another car beat this time on u tube

  • @OdinTheTrueGodOfWar watch?v=yL4jM5-BAHg

  • not FF car ^^

  • 4G63 all the way!!! 6-bolt though. lol

  • @dsm92eclipsegsx13 Eh yeah. But the 7 Bolts are just as good, as long as you try to correct the crankwalk problem.

  • wait what kinda car was this??

  • its a backhalved 2g eclipse

  • oooh thank god! it looked like a ford escort in the front at first

  • Have seen a beetle based rail run 6.5 204. Although very impressive and compliments to the builder, still not the quickest 4 cyl!!!

  • the thing is mitsubishi built the best DOHC engine in the world

  • i really can't argue with that... and i've never owned a 4g63.

  • @manonjourney only the 6 bolt 4g63

  • I guarantee that some 95's came from the factory with a 6 bolt although it was extremely rare, and yes you are right I forgot to mention the first generations never used a chrysler platform

  • A 6-bolt would never be in 95, ever, for no reason ever would it be in there, unless they swapped it. The 6-bolt went until 92.5 and from 92.6 on the 7-bolt are what all 4g63's were.

  • @DSMERGSX i would be suprised if it wasnt a 6 bolt the front half of the car isnt even an eclipse

  • this is only a 1030 hp car, soo it must be SUPER LIGHT!! like i said just humphreys car weighed over 3000pounds and runs 6s on 10.5 tires

  • outlaw 10.5s run these all day, weighing over 3300 pounds on 10.5 tires, even justin humphrey's turbo import lexus which is an outlat runs 6.8s

  • for all 4g63 fans.stay tuned on youtube cause something big is coming out from Malta-Europe.the all new Apap Bros Racing 4g63 dragster is ready.

  • evanisredhot you are absolutely wrong on the 6 bolt. They stopped making the 6 bolt in mid 92 around april, that is when the 7 bolt came out. If you see a 2nd gen 95-up or even a lat 92 and newer with a 6 bolt it has had a 6 bolt swap by someone.

  • MITSUBISHI RULESSSSSS ENGINE!!!

  • holy sht that must be embarrasing for all V8 out there... where is the power?

  • really?

Your ride must the devil ... do you have video of your car? I would like to see that demon in action

    =)

  • I'll agree that Rau's Eclipse is badass, but have you ever heard of 10.5 Outlaw, or Nitro Coupe Class, they run low 6's high 5's all day.

  • that 4g63t sure is an amazing four cylinder,

    DSM for life

  • k Eclipse GS/RS use the Chrysler 420A 2.0 liter non turbo gs-t and gs-x have the mitsubishi 4g63t same as an evo, spyder gs uses the 4g64 2.4 liter non turbo engine, stroking the 4g63 involves using the same size crank from the 4g64 on the 4g63 as for 6bolts those are the first generation eclipse gs-t/gs-x before 95 usually, althought a handful were mafuctured with a 6bolt after 95

  • well..not exactly the same as an evo ;)

  • GS/RS for 94 and under never had the 420A. Actually RS didnt even exist pre-94 it was just a base eclipse. 4g63's could come in a gs, gst, or gsx back then. If a gs had a 4g63 it wasn't turbo'd tho. Otherwise they came with 4g37's in the gs or base model. Yet again this is just for 94 and under.

  • I thought the n/a 2.0 liter was the 420a? Was the 4g37 the 2.4?

  • for the first generation eclipse from 1990-1994, there was no 420a. the 2L n/a was a 4g63 without a turbo. 420a's were in second generation eclipses only from 95-99. The 4g37 was the 1.8L sohc and found only in first generation eclipses. All of my information was to clearify the distinction that between the first two generations of eclipses, gs and rs models had different engine options. So to say that GS/RS use the 420a if they were nonturbo is incorrect.

  • Oh ok, I understand. On a sidenote, my buddy had a hyundai that had a 4g63 n/t in it.

  • whattttt

thats news to me, now i must research this lol.

was it a swap or did it come with it

  • sorry, it was a 420a in the hyundai elantra

  • wow, either way. I had no idea they used mitsubishi blocks in hyundai's... now i do. They had a 4g63 engine that was called a g4cp. Thanks for the added info lol

  • Ya I know what you mean. It's always crazy to pop the hood on some different make and go, "I've seen that before!".

  • There are some 4g63's in certain hyundai's i believe. I know there are 4g63 valve covers that say hyundai on them...

  • As the old saying goes... you can make a POS fly but in the end its still just a POS.

  • As an old syaing goes... haters will be haters.

  • is that a world record..? i bet that car will hold its own against a veyron :)

  • it will eat a veyron 1/4 mile.

  • yeah 2.3 and 2.4 are stroked

  • 2.3L's are strokers. 2.0L 4g63 motor with a 100mm crank

    2.4L's are 6bolt Hyundai GC4S, Galant G64B motors or 7bolt 4g64 Eclipse Spider/Galant motors with a 2.0L 4g63 head

  • I have also seens a 4G69 engine in a evo as well.

  • yes a 2.3 is a 4g63 bored with a set of longer rods I beleive, and the 2.4 stroker is a 2.4 crank and rods in a 4g63. I think this is right.

  • You are incorrect. a 2.3L is a 4G63 with .020 overbore, and a 2.4L crank, the 2.3 retains the stock 5.900" rod length. There is only 1 2.4L Stoker and that is Brian Crowers kit. A 2.4L Motor is exacataly what it states, 2,4L Block with turbo pistons and 4G63 head, 5.900" length rods.

  • Couple comments.... RWD cars don't get torque steer...driving a 6 second car straight IS hard...and lastly, giving credit where its due, this was filmed by IMVfilms dot com. Go check out their racing footage its top quality.

  • Yea well my 02 honda civic has a bunch of mods, mostly stickers and bodykit and stuff and i run 5.97 1/4 mile. im shooting for low 3's next year.

  • Hahaha. Guess you watch too much F&F movies.

  • it was obviously sarcasim dipshit.

  • wow you a smart one arent you?

  • "bucurelpacura (2 months ago) marked as spam

yeah, driving in a straight line takes a lot of skill"

Why is it always that when someone can't do something, they instead talk trash about how easy doing it is?

  • and to think its still only a 2.0 liter, imagine if he did actually stroke it

  • It would lose it's integrity. Displacement doesn't matter when it's a race engine with a turbo that big.

  • Im not saying bore the hell out of it. More displacement will spool a turbo faster no matter what the situation. John Shepherds record AWD Talon is stroked, and it hasnt had any problems that I know of.

  • Spooling faster isn't that important with a sequential automatic race transmission. Stroking the engine may also limit revs. Shepherds car is still considerably slower than this car, with a totally different tranny and turbo.

  • -1 for you sir for being incorrect. Shep's talon is a 2.0L fully built motor. Not a stroker, not a destroker. 2.0L Tyvm good bye.

  • John shep is still on a 2.0 so is the ams race evo.

  • Brent Rau's motor is actually a 2.3 liter STROKER. It says it at the end of an IMV video of him..

  • if then its a 4g63 thats been bored out because he said he uses a 4g63

  • Sweet, Power of a 4g63 on boost...

  • yeah, driving in a straight line takes a lot of skill

  • have Jesus Christ Inside on that Shit Bro...O_O

  • HOWLEEE SHEEET!!!

  • haha brent rau.fastest 4wd outlaw till he went rwd.whatta dumbass nigga used to buy parts from intense

  • holly frigging torque steer battman!

  • awesome .oh my goooooooood
