its been to long to remember where I read it, Theorically you have to have the Cstick perpendicular to the ground (Ex. on flat stages you have to press it down) and The joy stick about 90o lower where the hit normally sends you without DI...
Pretty sure getting hit by any attack just cancels your momentum and replaces it with the new attack's. I dunno I just know i've saved people at 150+ in teams from tippers with jabs and marth's forward b, etc.
lul talk about savings i saved one with falco down smash weak hit XD at 210% the look on my friend was awesome he was like wtf did u just saved me with down smash?
It keeps giving me an error when I try to list the address of my other vid in this comment, but if you look in my vids for "Double Stick Techs", I explain it pretty well there.
Now that I think about it, this would be SO badass to do in teams if they were to get you in an infinite grab combo when you're by yourself, and proceed to survive with like 400 damage or something, LMAO. Sure you'd die next hit but still, it'd be epic.
This stall trick is good news for slippery chars that want to double stick something after a laggy attack and would otherwise slip way to far to recover without it.
There's a couple frames at the very end of the roll before slipping off that you can act while still grounded. I go by the sound myself actually to time it, and know how long after "JIGGLYYYY!" I should hit it. Kind of like what I do to SWD with Samus. It has a certain rhythm to it. Try timing a sidestep(it can't be buffered with the c-stick) if you can't get the d-smash timing right away. It's a bit easier, and is usually all you will need stallwise in real matches.
good shite magus. yo just wondering i herd ur the best jiggly puff on the west coast or is it the east coast. if ur on west n ur near jersey i wanna play u. ima a peach user.
Sounds like someone was exaggerating a bit about me, lol. Unless KillaOR hasn't gotten much better in a while I don't see how I could be better than him. Anden's up there too over here. I'm on the eastcoast btw, between Philly and Trenton. It's near Jersey, but not exactly westcoast though =P
Nah. It would've been nice to be able to set the damage to that though with it instead of using the Foxes to get the damage up that high when I messed it up. The tech itself isn't too difficult, but the part on the edge has pretty precise timing.
Sidesteps also work but not as much as some attacks (Jiggs' d-smash in this case). Sidestepping won't work with ridiculously high knockback though like in this example. A single sidestep on the edge will reduce the amount you slip off by quite a lot though, but you must time the sidesteps/attacks, as buffering them with the c-stick doesn't seem to work. Sidesteps can't be chained more than ~2 times tho from what I can tell.
Heh, I recently watched a match between Zhu and Amsah and he used this 3 times in the set. Maybe he saw this very video! :O

What happens if he jabs you while you are d-smashing?
TipZfox 3 years ago
I'd guess the jab would go through your dsmash, you'd go in the air a tiny bit, and fly off. And die.
annoying1359 3 years ago 2
The jab wouldn't do anything because CF's jabs are fixed(You don't fly father by procent)
Mukjus 3 years ago 2
yeah but you don't lose all your momentum. I'm pretty sure you would die.

Whether you lose all momentum depends on the attack and the type of stun you're in.
ycz13 2 years ago
If someone else hit him, then all the momentum from the paunch would be lost, and the momentum from the new attack would be used instead.
So, if you jabbed him, it'd just be like jabbing him normally at 335%.

Thinking about it, AR wouldn't work anyway, since you can't double stick DI with it. (No C-Stick)
Doyoung2win and I have been trying this out, but we can't get the timing. Is there any way you can explain it?
