@floridaskater07 Yes and no, Not this one because its got too much power and speed (and the fuel tank holds 10-12 gallons if i remember correct) but if you wanted to put a rotax 582 or 503 in that would work. People say those are death traps just because they malfunction when you run it past 2hrs like ure not suppose to. Hope this helped mate!

Not saying they are bad Helicopters, AsI have my license and most my hours in a 22, But I would trust this Turbine Mini, a Turbine Helicycle, and with a few mods, a Turbine Rotorway even..

99% of people are too dumb to operate a heli so the chances of air traffic congestion are really non existent. well compared to levels of ground traffic congestion. that said i am more than ready to sell my car and commute by heli. too bad heli pads are few in these parts.

As a pilot, I can't say I would be real comfortable spooling up a turbine engine and then walking back to the tail rotor to release it from the main rotor. Nice way to become a double amputee.

It certainly would be a nice ride to work assuming you had some place to land within walking distance of your office. And the the Solar T62-A2 is extremely reliable and very economical. You just want to make sure you have FADEC. You know you would be the envy of everyone in the office. Plus, because the Mini 500 is a single seat you don't have to worry about giving someone a ride home and no worry about some parking attendant taking it for a spin.

Nice heli, but i can never really understand why there are planes or choppers made just with one seat! I don't think I've ever met a pilot who wouldn't have anyone among his friends who don't want to get a ride in their ships. With one seater, you can't even get an instructor to check you out (as some insurances requrie). So why bother? I'd rather go with a Rotorway (at least it's got two seats). I suspect the cost to buy/own is that much higher (if it is) than this chopper....

Pilots everywhere leave the a/c while the rotors are still, turning, its common practice on an ac w/o a rotor brake. And that t/o was hardly rushed. Judging by the pilots skill observed in the video, i'd gues hes a commercial pilot.

Very nice aircraft.. however t/o was rushed ..I take it some pilots dont use any effective ground effect (cushion) before transitioning to E.T.L ! may be on shutdown waiting for the rotors to stop turning

before leaving the aircraft..this is not good practice.
