  • I heard him play this piece in person when he came to america this past fall. and it was the prettiest thing I have ever heard. Being a euphonium myself I was deeply moved and in awe of what he could do. At the end I was crying and cheering at the same time. In two years I do believe I will play this for my college senior recital

  • Ive never heard any thing that sounds remotly like David Childsother than George who also played the euphnium for Cory Workman´s Band in the late sixties and seventies.

  • I am a euphonium player, and I certainly look up to David Childs. This is a beautiful piece, I've sung The Armed Man and hopefully can play this solo with my concert band. Such a lovely piece played by the best euphonium player on earth!

  • I play for a brass band in swindon and they came down and we preformed together. The GWYB only played 2 song but it was amazing. an older member of the band tried hitting on him. LOL. I can't belive he is that good. at his best live and there solo cornet/ trumpet player is ace too. They are all ace. Gods of brass.

    Doesn't hurt having two of the best euphoniums ever as your dad and uncle! There's some AMAZING euphonium playing in that family.
