I remember pining for these games when I would see them covered in game magazines when I was a teen. Then eBay and more disposable income came along and I acquired most. Now, while I still love them, I may have to let them go due to lack of room and need for money. : (
Nice games, but for me the best shooter on PC-Engine is PARODIUS! It comes so close to the arcade-version, unbelievable what's in the PC-Engine. And anyway PARODIUS is the best shoot-em-up of all times!

Can't keep away from these class looking shooters. The MD/SAT' has some of the best shmups of any system in my view. But assessing and learning more about the PCE's tour de force of minty shmup goodness. I may have to revise my opinions somewhat Matt, some of these titles gameplays look stunning and can't wait until i can to pickup an Duo down the line. No suprise now is it mate, i'm "hooked on a feelin' '". These babies rock!.."pure gold" as you say sir. :)
@MENDEZ1628 Yeah the PCE games have a totally different feel to the other systems, I used to prefer the HuCard games, and in most cases they were more original than the later CD ROM games, but nowadays I prefer the CD ROM games!
AUF WIEDERSEHEN PET! Must admit, the more i delve into the world of classic PCE shooters...the more i'm bloody outraged with myself. Completely overlooking this great system back in the day. Loved these screens. :)

Yes, yes, yes!! Winds of Thunder is awesome, one of the coolest shooters out there on any system hands down. Love the reviews man, will you be doing a bronze PC Engine shooter video? I know there's loads of great shooters on the PCE but there's also some turds, would be cool the see some of them too.
I've got Gate of Thunder and Super Radien, and cant find either. Time to clean the room me thinks.

I have Ginga Fukei Densetsu Sapphire original and the bootleg version from Care4Data,the game are AWESOME!
