First time I heard this song many years ago, I lived in England. It was in London. Various artists tooked part at this event for AIDS. I was there with Kate M. An exceptional moment with her and this great song for more than 10 minutes. Sting, Dave Gahan, Clapton, Bono and many more together...

I lived with Kate and her family during 8 months. I was 18 . I'm Belgian and I learned English with them. A very kindful family. She was ill and died in 2009. I still sad!

Damn. Had not expected that ending. The man, after years of listening to that song, and this album over and over, sometimes on replay, still amazes me. "Use your heart to love SOMEbody. And if your heart is big enough, use your heart to love everybody." That's SOME as in anybody - if your heart is big enough- because we all need, deserve and gots to have love, even when we don't love ourselves, and sho cain't love others. Damn. I'm gonna have to marinate on that for a minute.
