Guys please help me!!!I buy yearstoday a new video card*EAH ASUS 5770 1GB*But,when im trying to start pc i get black screen and monitor says going to sleeping mod and nothink esle the camputer wont start with this card, help me please!!???My pc system is*Intel R core TM i3 cpu 540 @3.07ghz 3.07 ghz,RAM 4.00GB,64 BIT Operating Sytem windows 7 home premium the name of the pc is Studio xps dell 8100 pls answer me soon as posible and sorry for my bad english, thanks u very much!!!!!
I had the same problem with my first ever graphics card. I later found out my card was not compatible with my PC. You will have to send it back and get one that is compatible with your PC.
@Stalin777RUS its because the computer wont start right. it prob has to do with the psu?chek all the wires and everytin all tight n all. its prob not ur card. but that means ur monitor is working but just ur pc aint starting up so it goes in sleep mode. try adjusting and test if ur psu is workin
Dude i have this card on my 305W PSU and its fine. 400W is the reccomended amount but its overly cautious tbh. At full capacity the card actually only drains like 45W.
yeah i understand but someone started giving me a hard time cuz i said it requires a 400w psu which is what it recommends. but he made it seem like i was crazy and made up some random number. and i know they over do the recommendations but i dont know for a fact what you can actually get away with so i just said the recommendation.
Well i saw a review where somebody had run it on a 205W PC (give or take a few watts) and it had worked fine, but it depends on the other components of your computer. You could try it but it *might* not work, so it's your choice.
The 5570 isn't as far down as 50% of a 5670... it uses perhaps 50% less power maybe. The card is basically an underclocked 5670 with ddr3 memory. With a bit of overclocking, you can actually get close to, or exceed a stock 5670 in performance (despite the slower memory), according to some reviewers. Not bad for a little card that can fit in a slimline chassis, and definitely a safer and more efficient choice for those running smaller PSUs than say, a 5670.
Guys, I think you are all forgetting that the 5570 is LOW PROFILE. Yes, the 5670 is a much better card, but there are no low profile varieties of that card as of yet.
In Canada there's Actually only a 2$ difference between 5570 & 5670 , 5570 is only 50% in Performance versus Ati 5670,......SO WHY BUY a 5570?....(They both Work on Cheap PSU's)
