I rode a motorcycle for years. The first thing I'd think of when I was last in a line of stopped were cars was to have an exit, Many times, II would watch cars coming up from behind, and pull off to the side, if they were coming too fast. These two are alive, because they were smart and got off the road. You have to think ahead when you are in an emergency. That is survival. On the other hand there are the folks driving 80 in a fog, not thinking about anyone's safety including their own.
See how God/Krishna saved my life. I started from Tampa to Alachua at 12.30am. At 1.30am I decided to rest at first rest area. woke up at 3am and I don't how but I again decided to rest at next restarea for 1 hr. by the time I reached Micanopy the road is closed. I was surprized to see 441 also closed. finally reached Alachua at 6am by the mercy of the Lordship Sri Sri Radheshyam
Don't tell me.....a cell phone or iPhone was involved?
Here's your typical American: "I'm too busy talking on the phone about last night's Jersey Shore to give a fuck and pay attention to my driving! Did you hear what Snooki said about J-Woww? OH MY GOD!! Did I do THAAAAAAAT?"
heartbreaking. My prayers go out to those who were lost, and their families and this man and those who survived who were affected. Hopefully people learn to drive safer. This is a tragedy that should have easily been avoided.
Feel soo bad for those that died do to the negligence of others. I swear drivers all over act like they have lost their ability to use common sense. It's like they don't realize they are traveling at the same speed as their car! Your heads belong on your shoulders and not up your asses. Could have been avoided! :(
@hitcreatormusic I agree, it seems like people have become so desensitized these days. When in reality EVERY single life should be valued. People saying this mans words prove how "sheltered" we are. NO, this proves how "LUCKY" we are we don't live in conditions such as the Middle East.
It's tragic, no doubt, but this type of carnage is just an average day in some places in the Middle East. This man's words prove how sheltered we really are.
Think about it CNN while you make a big deal over this.
They must not have much of a drivers test in Florida. Knowing when to slow down or stop doesn't take much intelligence. Those that survived after killing people should spend time in jail for manslaughter.
@Twostones00 another contrubuting factor I think is that cars are very automated now, almost like a living couch with a 250hp motor. All you have to do is steer, you don't even have to push to gas, "Cruise controll". Then there are other distractions like cell phones, txting, and even tv's in some cars so these Morons are too stupid to see visbility has gone to zero and creep along slowly. No these dumbass plow along at 80mph till BOOM THERE DEAD.
Idot drivers, They cannot see and they still keep on going at a speed where the cannot avoid the vehicle ahead. Its like driving with a blindfold on. The more of them that die this way the safer the road will be for the rest of us who know better.
@Twostones00 I agree with you. I have noticed that many drivers do not slow down when road conditions or visibility changes. They just plow ahead like they have onboard sonar and an operator to inform them. Stupid fucks that I try to avoid if at all possible.
@valhala56 It is completely senseless to see people die because of pure stupidity. There are many fools in this world. I hope there are a ton of lawsuits against those that caused this damage and death.
@Twostones00 Nothing will change the stupidity of Humans, not even lawsuits. Man is doing a good job of causeing multi vehicle pile ups and a myriad of other harmfull things like Global Warming, Peak Oil, Fascism, War, damaging the enviroment.
In a way this pileup is a metaphor for what is happening nationaly and globaly.
As all the particpants in the world banking and political systems speed away at high speed in fog the crash will come just like it did for these morons.
