What they dont tell you in this video is that this parasite is only found in naturally warm fresh water like stagnant pools, and is common only in the hot summer months like july and august. This amoeba is not found in salt water, or properly chlorinated or salted recreational water sources, and although tens of millions of people are exposed to it every year, in the last century there have been less than forty deaths due to this infection in the US, so relax. You're much more likely to DROWN.

there are antibiotics that work on it, though the chances are always iffy, you just need to catch it in it's early stages for the Meds to most likely work, the cases in a spacific region is really rare so I guess dont panic too much. not to mention those antibiotics can be a life saver ;3
