Side arm is NOT better. It gives the goalie more time to react and save the ball. But the advantage with side arm is that it can pretty much be put anywhere in the net.

you shouldnt be shooting side arm really. I have never shot side arm in a game. There is almost never a chance where you can throw side arm and not overhand. Also Shotting side arm makes it easier for the goalie since its harder to shoot at the ground and will usually go to his stick side.

For the most part he does, except for the part where he tells you to "never throw sidearm".

Sure it's harder. But once you learn sidearm, you can learn underhand, and those two shots can be very useful.

Also, he says to do a "pushing" motion with your top hand. Avoid this. It helps to think of your bottom hand as pulling through toward the goal, then down across your body, and your top hand just helps for aiming.

You shouldn't be getting nearly as much power from your top hand than your bottom.
