We sang this in High School and dedicated it to my friend who passed away in a car accident only 4 days prior to the concert. She was a wonderful person who loved choir with all her heart and always had a smile. Rest in peace kyrie.
@Fry106 It was, Mr. Kelly DeHaan is brilliant at recognizing when something would play differently (and generally better) in a different key. It's up a half step, into F#.
My alma mater performed this song at our spring concert last year and it was my absolute favorite song out of all my years in choir. I've searched high and low for a version of this on youtube and this has the be the best out there. Bravo!
we performed this at the SDMEA all state choir and orchestra....ha i was the lone freshman from our school that made it.....this was my FAVORITE song!!! :)
I love this song it is so beautiful. I haven't heard this since I was a sophmore in 2006 at WJHS. you guys did a beautiful job. this is such a beautiful piece and you did it justice. Thank you for uploading it. I have been looking for it since I heard it for the last time.
Here we go again, WJHS Mads! Only this year DeHaan is letting me play the cello as opposed to a wind instrument. Sorry, wind players :)

I like it better without the horn. It seems more quietly reflective this way.

Love this. We preformed it at the Simon Estes Concert in Franklin County Iowa. Was my second favorite song that the actual choir performed.
