I may be wrong, but I think the chords are similar to that of the main titles music. Gives Anne a certain importance in the series as a whole. Its quite touching, I maybe reading way too much into this but I like the idea that her theme is interwoven in the main theme relaying her significance on another level - musically:)

The real Anne Boleyn did not deserve her death, however, she was not the greatest of Tudor Queens. Historically, the best were Katherine of Aragon, and Elizabeth.

This is a powerful piece. I don't like Anne Boleyn at all since she was 'the OTHER woman' when it came to Catherine of Aragon and Henry VIII, but this piece really speaks to her character and I can't help but sympathize with her. Tearjerker, honestly it is - and I'm not the crying sort.

Everyone seems a bit to in love with Queen Anne, you all were not even alive, you sound rather silly, your more in love with the character which was portrayed than the actual person.

@laura123roxx its all about the drama. people love the sad stories almost as much as they love the happy endings. Look at Romeo & Juliet, pitifully sad ending, but its one of the greatest stories of all time. and as far as the character, it's the portrayal and the person itself. Story tells us that she was a brave young woman, but was used for family ambitions, and sold out in the end. in some ways, we relate.

@laura123roxx No I all ready was a huge fan of Anne Boleyn before the show. She was an extremely brave woman and she stood for what she believed in. Natalie Dormer did an amazing job of playing Anne Boleyn, and she captured her spirit very well, but that is just it, she portrayed the spirit of Anne Boleyn who I admire and many others do as well.

I loved this scene. They covered Anne's downfall very well in Season 2. The Tudors kept very accurate records about it, especially the torture of Mark Smeaton. Despite some artistic license, I found this a very moving scene. Season 2 has to be my favourite so far, especially the soundtrack. Waiting to see how Season 3 works out. :-)

While the purists harp on about historical inaccuracies, this whole show was never meant to be a precise account and those of us who watch the show, know that it is brilliantly acted and filmed and some scenes like Anne dreaming of her childhood with this music accompanying it are so magical and touching that they transcend normal TV.
