A fight vs Randy Couture in 2007 would have been epic. If Fedor had the belt and Brock fought Fedor when he fought Randy in 08, Fedor would have crushed him, no doubt about it. The UFC has really restrictive contracts. No other tournaments, can't sign with any game other than UFC's, no c-promoting (which was the big thing with Fedor). After Fedor runs through Werdum, Overeem, and possibly Lashley or even Rogers again, he will have to go to the UFC.

I am an MMA fan...I dont care where it comes from...I have been watching MMA for 15 years. I used to watch Pride all the time. I have been watching Fedor for years.....shame on Fedor and his Manager for not making a deal with UFC and give the fans what they want to see...in the end it is all about money and control. @hardkorz Wrong. Dana White only owns around 10% of the UFC. The Fertita brothers own much more than him. He was appointed by Lorenzo and could instantly be fired, which would mean he would just own 10% of the company and would not be paid salary for acting as president.

@jratz7 You could say the same thing - heath Herring lasted a full 10 min with lesnar, but a much younger stronger Heath Herring only lasted 5 mins with Fedor. Nog and Cro Cop were definately much stronger back when they fought Fedor. Tim Sylvia, Andre Arlovski and kevin Randleman are just some of the UFC heavyweight champs that Fedor has beaten. And most importantly - none of that really matters at all.

All except Dana White that is, because he has clear and obvious business related reasons for not saying so. And why do they all say this? Because they actually watch his fights, not look at his record. If you actually watch his fights to assess him (like any pro does) it's obvious how good he is.

He did say Lesnar could beat Fedor, but he had also said that he could beat Fedor just before his second lesnar fight, and he had to try to justify how Lesnar could take him so easily if he thought he could beat Fedor. If Arlovski thinks Lesnar has Fedor then that's the first i have heard of it. Either way, he is in a tiny minority going against what the vast bulk of what fighters, ex-champ and all of them say - Fedor is the best.

@jratz7 You should follow your own advice, boy. Herring wasn't a top HW. Only reason Mir was seen as one was that he beat a sick Nog and Lesnar is only 1-1 with Mir. Couture hadn't fought in a long time and still Lesnar didn't show anything too convincing in that fight either. Fedor has been tested many times and he has proven the strongest, unlike Lesnar and other UFC heavys who are ducking Fedor.

If you look up the Fall of PrideFC you will read it had to do with the president being affiliated with Japan's biggest mob. The UFC has really restrictive contracts. No other tournaments, can't sign with any game other than UFC's, no c-promoting (which was the big thing with Fedor). After Fedor runs through Werdum, Overeem, and possibly Lashley or even Rogers again, he will have to go to the UFC.
