I love how you don't include the whole message. You use bits and pieces to your liking. That reflects yourself as a person. If you can't fit the whole sermon in one video, post three more to finish it. Don't mislead people for this is one of the sins most hated by God.
Perry Noble is a man. He is a sinner. Are not we all, however? Yes he makes mistakes. Is everything he says correct? No. He admits this. I have heard him say this many times, in person. He cares about a persons soul, not if he makes them comfortable or not. He teaches and strips away the many layers of chains others have put on Christianity for the "elites". Jesus, the Gospel - is for everyone. You have only to ask for Jesus. It's not about Perry. It's about you and God.

Excuse me, but what does rock bands have to do with anything? God does not have a certain Genre he likes better, it's a joyful noise. And I know personally that God is all up in that church because the church is the gathering of believers. And he does preach STRAIGHT from the word of God, most sermons are just reading scriptures, get your facts straight.
I remember the statement about "visiting the sick" my "pastor" made at staff meeting. He didn't have time for it. It was quickly followed by a mass exodus from the church. The "pastor" began drinking, smoking, watching pornography, and the like. Needless to say, he's is not a "pastor" today. I feel sorry for people caught in these churches because I was there and was so deceived. I'm not passing judgment, but based on this man's statements, I'm curious to know his behind the scenes.

I think the main thing to focus on is that he wants people to focus on Jesus not what the pastor is doing or the type of music that is played. I think people are more concerned with throwing stones instead of focusing on their relationship with Jesus. It seems that we forget that even the mightiest of the angles would not accuse the Devil of blasphemy only that the Lord rebukes him. We love criticizing and accusing people. It is not about criticizing him for the sake of criticzing Perry. The big issue is he does not seem to care for his flock. If he does not care then he needs to get a new job. I am a ministry student I am studying under a pastor who has been in the ministry for 15 years. Also an elder who has been in ministry for 20 years. The most important thing you do as a pastor is preach and teach christ and know your sheep so you can protect them from the wolves. This is just not the job for him.
Its the tone of his voice that concerns me. Yes he cannot visit everyone in his church (An issue that mega churches have,) But in this speech he really has a rock star attitude. If you do and are a mega church pastor of 8,000 people and have kids you do what you can to conenct with your congregation and take care of your family. You dont totally shun them. Its his tone its very Me centered.
@ocpud2999 KIDS are strictly not allowed in this church. They force 1st time attenders to take their kids (under 12 yr of age) to a "nursery" where a "hired staff" (that like Perry, nobody knows personally). I just dont see a great chance of a 10 yr old finding Jesus in a nursery playing games and some of them being scared of the huge number of strange kids and people looking after them

From someone who does attend this church, you would know that Perry does "crack open the Bible,"and does care about "his flock", but unlike a lot of churches today the pastor is not expected to do everything in the church for everyone in the church. For once a man of God that promotes helping and holding each other accountable. NewSpring is ran by Godly volunteers and if you want a visit in the hospital someone will come see you. Fine, but one can't really expect to know Jesus if they don't know why Jesus came and what Jesus did for them; namely die for there sin. And they're not going to hear it from this guy because then he may actually have to crack open a Bible. He may actually have to talk about sin and death and the devil, and that's just not relevant enough for him. I don't really care that he doesn't visit people in the hospital Heck I wouldn't want him visting me. But he should be preaching the Gospel.
You give the impression that you attend Noble's church. I mean, how else would you know what he preaches not on this particular Sunday, but every Sunday? How else would you know if he "cracks open" his Bible?
You can listen to his sermons online at his web-site. Listen to them. You tell me how many times he even makes mention of the cross, and yet Christ and Him crucified is what Paul says should always be preached. You tell me how many times he menions sin, death and the devil, and yet that is exactly what Christ frees us from. But by all means, don't take my word for it. Go listen to them, and then tell me whether you heard anything about sin and redemption. Or is it just more law?
MackLeeGreen you are misrepresenting this man and Newspring Church. I have listened to 5 sermon downloads at random. Every sermon has had numerous Bible passages correctly interpreted. The 4th sermon in this series is a very long and plain Gospel Message presentation with a call to follow Jesus. A pastor does not have to preach the Gospel every single Sunday. A pastor's job (from scripture) is to "prepare God's people for works of service" Eph 4:12. Perry Noble does that consistently.
So just because you go to this church you are willing to defend their rude foolish immature unbiblical actions???...

I think the main thing to focus on is that he wants people to focus on Jesus not what the pastor is doing or the type of music that is played. I think people are more concerned with throwing stones instead of focusing on their relationship with Jesus. It seems that we forget that even the mightiest of the angles would not accuse the Devil of blasphemy only that the Lord rebukes him. We love criticizing and accusing people. People talk about love yet they throw rocks. Sorry if I offended anyone!

It is not about criticizing him for the sake of criticzing Perry. The big issue is he does not seem to care for his flock. If he does not care then he needs to get a new job. I am a ministry student I am studying under a pastor who has been in the ministry for 15 years. Also an elder who has been in ministry for 20 years. The most important thing you do as a pastor is preach and teach christ and know your sheep so you can protect them from the wolves. This is just not the job for him.

He refuses to visit the sick and dying? That doesn't come from Christ.
He doesn't want to be corrected as per the music example. Well you know what that means.

Its the tone of his voice that concerns me. Yes he cannot visit everyone in his church (An issue that mega churches have,) But in this speech he really has a rock star attitude. If you do and are a mega church pastor of 8,000 people and have kids you do what you can to conenct with your congregation and take care of your family. You dont totally shun them. Its his tone its very Me centered.

@ocpud2999 KIDS are strictly not allowed in this church. They force 1st time attenders to take their kids (under 12 yr of age) to a "nursery" where a "hired staff" (that like Perry, nobody knows personally). I just dont see a great chance of a 10 yr old finding Jesus in a nursery playing games and some of them being scared of the huge number of strange kids and people looking after them

There are better ways? want him to candy coat it for ya?? There are other churches that won't hurt your feelings. Perry doesn't care if you know him or not.. he's just delivering the word, in a way that reaches a lotta people and that reaches the generation that matters...us.

The point he's making, if you propagandists would watch the sermon in its entirety, is that the eyes of the flock should be on Jesus, not Perry Noble!!! People of today, especially church traditionalists, put such a ridiculous amount of stock in one man, the pastor, WHO IS NOT JESUS! I really hate when people edit videos so as to pervert their content and context. I would scarce trust you with interpreting the Bible.

it doesn't matter if 99% of what he says is right. If 1% is selfish, hateful and unchristlike then he needs to be publicly admonished and must repent, and if he does not he needs to go.

From someone who does attend this church, you would know that Perry does "crack open the Bible,"and does care about "his flock", but unlike a lot of churches today the pastor is not expected to do everything in the church for everyone in the church. For once a man of God that promotes helping and holding each other accountable. NewSpring is ran by Godly volunteers and if you want a visit in the hospital someone will come see you. But you wouldn't know that because your just speculating.

I can't believe a pastor would say this. This guy is completely self absorbed. He could care less about his sheep. So much for washing their feet I get. The greatest of all is a servant of all. He should give up his family time for God's work, HE'S A PASTOR!!!! If a Marine can do it for Iraq, then a pastor can do it for his flock!!! This is disgracefull!

Everyone who speaks negatively against anyone who has been put in place to reach people that don't know Jesus, keep your opinions to yourselves and stop trying to spotlight your own self-righteousness. Whenever you put down and not lift up you go against what the Word of God speaks and that is to love with the heart of Jesus. Do not criticize something that God tells someone to do or say. You are not perfect therefore you have no right to say anything negative. Who wants to cast the first stone?

I took the time to listen to a few and I will listen to more. But don't listen to my thoughts or the thoughts of this video. Perry is a great pastor! He is doing Gods work! If you would have listened to the sermon to the entire you would know for sure. He preaches the BIBLE...not what makes people feel good like most other churches. God help you guys. God Bless

Fine, but one can't really expect to know Jesus if they don't know why Jesus came and what Jesus did for them; namely die for there sin. And they're not going to hear it from this guy because then he may actually have to crack open a Bible. He may actually have to talk about sin and death and the devil, and that's just not relevant enough for him. I don't really care that he doesn't visit people in the hospital Heck I wouldn't want him visting me. But he should be preaching the Gospel.

You give the impression that you attend Noble's church. I mean, how else would you know what he preaches not on this particular Sunday, but every Sunday? How else would you know if he "cracks open" his Bible?

You can listen to his sermons online at his web-site. Listen to them. You tell me how many times he even makes mention of the cross, and yet Christ and Him crucified is what Paul says should always be preached. You tell me how many times he menions sin, death and the devil, and yet that is exactly what Christ frees us from. But by all means, don't take my word for it. Go listen to them, and then tell me whether you heard anything about sin and redemption. Or is it just more law?

MackLeeGreen you are misrepresenting this man and Newspring Church. I have listened to 5 sermon downloads at random. Every sermon has had numerous Bible passages correctly interpreted. The 4th sermon in this series is a very long and plain Gospel Message presentation with a call to follow Jesus. A pastor does not have to preach the Gospel every single Sunday. A pastor's job (from scripture) is to "prepare God's people for works of service" Eph 4:12. Perry Noble does that consistently.

A person should always checkout & know the pastor, to make sure that pastor preaches from the bible & doesn't preach heresy.
A pastor is sappose to care & tend Jesus' sheep; love, feed & give them something to drink.
Perry Noble needs Jesus & to know the bible, but he should also find another job that doesn't require to care about folks.

Actually I'm fed up with the hypocrisy of mainstream churches. But the real reason I am going to NewSpring is because my parents go. I am 18 and I wouldn't have to, but I just go along with what they do to honor them and set an example for my younger brothers. Also I never said I am willing to defend him I just wanted you to tell me why you think I shouldn't.

Scripture says Christ will say someday, "Depart from me, I never knew you. When I was sick you didn't visit me, when I was in prison you never came..." Mr. Noble will not be troubled to visit if it interferes with his life. He is a wolf, not a shepherd. God save us from this kind of fraudulent leader. Run, baby, run!

Exactly!! The problem is not that he told them that he couldn't visit them in the hospital, but how he told them. There are a lot of pastors of big churches who wouldn't have time for hospital visists, but they wouldn't scold their congregation for wanting someone to visit, they would tactfully explain the situation to them.
