We don't have a connection emotionally w/ the Civil Rights era because many of us did not grow up during that time, I guess. That's not to say no one cares, but the problem is many people from that generation FAILED to invest in the youth or new ideas. I remember Boyce Watkins mentioning how many people would not embrace anybody's ideas (or them in general) if they did'nt 'march' in the 60's, or w/ certain people.
