  • I'm only posting this comment so others will know to gather information from all the Kombucha postings. You added so much kombucha tea then the mushroom, and then you added kombucha concentrate. I think your kombucha tea is ready, unless you wanted to grow a mushroom. But you still added too much kombucha tea. It requires very little kombucha tea when you add a mushroom. I don't think a muslin cloth is a good idea. fyi:I use honey and/or brown sugar.

  • It is not a good idea to let the sweet tea sit out all night. I would find a way to cool it quicker in less time, Mold could form.

    I brew this way and have for many years.
