Don't like the taste of the fondant ? ...add any flavoring of your choice. Just knead it in; rewrap for 24 hours and it will come back to the firmness needed to roll out. It will taste so much better this way. Hope this helps you out.
@OllyAnder1 I used a combination of gum paste and fondant. The longer you work the fondant in your hands, the easier it gets to play with. The warmth of your hands, helps the process, in fact, sometimes TOO much. For these videos I'm using boxed rolled fondant, but I don't like it much for taste.
