  • great series, we miss you Mr. Sagan! ><

1 person loves to get penetrated by Jesus's penis.

  • @atheism102

We dont belive in god, they do. Thats their choice or ignorance.

as being an atheist myself i request you to not offend others belief or deity.

  • @softmen6

Oh I don't, I just find the intolerance of some to be humorous.

  • I watched for about 5 minutes and conclude it is pretentious and TL;DR

    thumbs down. :P

  • I remember watching this when I was about 10 and going.....fuck.....

  • Muchas gracias por compartirlo.

  • Christians believe the universe is 6000 years old. Hindus believe the universe is billions of years old. It seems the Hindus were closer to the truth concerning the nature of the universe. Of course they still invoke a god or gods as being the creator. But aside from that they otherwise must have known something all other religions didn't know. But, as Carl Sagan implies, if a god made the universe then who made the god and who made the maker of the god? And so on into an Infinite regress.

  • @BigFatHeretic There are actually many Christians who say that sometimes the bible's words are only meant to be taken as symbols, not literal facts. Like the extreme ages of many figures. The bible was written down by men who were not extremely educated, they wrote what they heard from their ancestors, and their ancestors could not have possibly understood how old the universe really is. They did not study cosmology rigorously like the hindus.

  • @BigFatHeretic I'm a Christian myself, but I like to keep a fair balance between by scientific beliefs and religious ones. It is interesting to consider how we got here, whether it be by God or by some happy cosmic accident. Therein, where did the universe start. Did it come from nothing at all,, a strange vast ball of something or other that exploded into the universe? Then where did that vast ball of something come from?

  • @BigFatHeretic The Hindus believe the universe lies within the stomach of the god Brahma. That's an interesting idea, a universe within an outer universe.

  • Im gonna be completely honest. When this series is over for me Im gonna be starting it all over again until every once of information is stored away. Ill finish then start again. An infinite cycle of death and rebirth. Carl Sagan. The only man I ever loved.

  • I like how he put 'religion' and 'myth' in the same sentence.

  • I absolutely love this guy. Carl Sagan is one of the few that deserves to live forever.

  • @djschousen and hum2011able. what a beautiful thought. dr. sagan himself would probably be the first to say that it will most likely never happen.

  • They'll still be talking about this guy, when we are all long gone...

  • An astronomer, a philosopher, a genius, an explorer, and a peace monger. The last 2000+ years of history practically compiled into one man's life if you think about it...

  • amazing i have no words.... beautiful. this is what religion should be

  • here we go again... the jewish people produce another prophet...

this man got's to be, the best one yet...

  • @1980mikeaxle this is not about what jewish people do or could do or did. you just misunderstood it, try again.

  • 58:35 for a moment there i thought he was smoking a bong

  • @jusmck1 please tell me you don't believe those fairy tales.

  • @jusmck1 please stop spreading your foolishness. this is the internet, most people on here know that religion is a joke.

  • @jusmck1 could we learn how to spell,,,,, something?

  • @jusmck1 Yeah, and if you read the Bible for once, you'd see that it says God made everything in SIX days and rested on the seventh... but seriously...

    Carl Sagan > God

  • @jusmck1 Keep reading. Let go of emotional crutches in the name of reality.

  • @jusmck1 what makes you believe the bible? i'm interested

  • @jusmck1 The true nature of inquiry is to ask questions, and go where those questions lead us.

If we simply answered any question with "God did it" we would still believe thunder and lightning are gods... However by being curious, by using our intellect, we know why those things happen.

If you are really for stalling scientific advance, please, kindly throw away your computer, forget about cars, TV, electricity.. and go live as a hermit... alone in the mountains.

  • @jusmck1 I have read the bible, KJV, NKJV, New International, and Revised Standard English. I still say there all fairy tales with no physical evidence to support any of it.

  • @LakeDownz Insolence.

  • A magnificent intellect. we need him back =(

  • @DJSchousen Sir! We are ready to re-discover him but we have not yet received any radio signal from him...we are on our guards on the look out for him in this cosmic ocean

  • @human2011able

How beautiful you said that about Carl Sagan...

Unbelievable series! Every human being should see this!!!

  • @MariusRocknroll You are True, All Best to You!

  • @DJSchousen

    Agreed :(.
