  • i just ordered the urban decay glide on shadow pencil set!!!! can't wait to use them!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • sorry can u please write down which eye pencils do u use? Thanks! :) U rock!

  • Which concelear do u use here? :)

  • No offense, but why has your skin broken out so badly?? You had pretty good skin before

  • @NyDrPa sometimes people break out, it's normal. she does have really nice skin, but breakouts happen from time to time.

  • I was really surprised to see that your skin is a lot like mine without makeup, because in all your videos it looks flawless! Thank you for all the tips, I found it incredibly helpful and I now have hope that I can make my skin appear as gorgeous as yours. (:

  • This is really helpful! i FINALLY found a good foundation and primer and I need a good conceler. I actually got the hard candy conceler which is amazing but the lightest color is to dark for my skin. I just looked up the conceler your using and I have no clue what color I am, they have no pictures at all. I am light skinned but a little darker then you and my skin is a tad olive toned. Any suggestions? Do you know the color thats the next tone up from nude? I need conceler in my life lol :P

  • Great videos!

    Check out my channel!

    Luka xoxox

  • a lot of girls my age (20) or younger use heavy concealer under their eyes and seem to not focus it on the right spot. does it really matter? what I mean is, they put the concealer not on the soft little pockets under the eye area but on what i would call the "lower eye lid" or really close to the lower lash line. it makes their eyes look poofy and i feel like it's a big no-no.

  • For some odd reason I love watching foundation routines. Especially yours because of the way you speak and present yourself. If I may suggest something, however, could you show us the amount of product you are using just for reference purposes? Thanks! :)

  • omg i made a crayon wax canvas like the one you have in the background too! :D

  • Leesha, I didn't see this tutorial on your webpage. Did you upload it there and I just missed it?. Please let me know, I am looking for the name of the products you used. Thanks.

  • @awdry1000 I do agree with you that she never responds to anyones comments if they are nice, ask a question and compliment her but, someone makes a comment on something that's touchy to her and she is all over it responding quite snidely.

  • @glamourtwisted My skin is acne prone, but I won't use any other foundation than makeup Forever HD Foundation. Of course, I take great care of my skin now, but even when I didn't, it still didn't break me out. :)

  • Thanks for the great information!

  • Sorry to sound incredibly dumb, but, what exactly does a primer do on your skin?

  • SHE'S CUTE! =)

  • You mention using the DermaBlend concealer in smooth indulgence, and I was wondering if you knew anything about the quick-fix concealer from DermaBlend and which one might be better?

  • This was a really helpful tutorial! thanks leesha!

  • If you want a cheap alternative to getting rid of acne scars, squeeze some lemon juice from a lemon into a small container, dip a cotton ball into the lemon juice, and dab it on any dark spots. It does sting a little but it has healed really old dark spots. I mean, it won't take it away completely, or at least not in my case, but it fades it away so that it's not so obvious. I also recommend you do this before you go to sleep.

  • @miaaa549 I have tried that on my chin where i get cystic acne once in a while and it so works!! I know you probably shouldn't be doing that on active breakouts, but I wait until it' almost all the way healed and then dab it on once at night. BAM!! Gone!!

  • @mcvc121 Oh yeah I get you.! I've never really had to deal with cystic acne but sometimes I get these little bumps on my face, they aren't pimples--i think they're called white heads?--anyway, yeah I put the lemon juice on them before going to bed and they'll be gone the next morning! I love it! haha.

  • @miaaa549 Really? I get those bumps all the time and they're so difficult to get rid of! That's probably nothing new to you. Haha. I'll have to try that trick tonight and see what happens. Thank you so much. (:

  • @DUdancer42 aw, did it work for you? :O

  • lol! i love the blur tool on photoshop!

  • you are very pretty

  • where do you live that it's getting warmer in january??? lol

  • i also did a contour and highlight vid, please have a look! x

  • hey aleesha, this is amazing, i also uploaded a foundation routine today! please have a look! x

  • I thought you had oily skin?

  • Such great explanation.. You rocked it!!

  • @secretartist16 oh, do you mean Mad Max from Kat Von D High Voltage Lacquer? I love the color! thank you :)

  • This reminds me very closely of my signature summer look! Only I do a slightly more golden shadow on top and a magenta-y purple on the bottom! By the way, love the nail polish!

  • That concealer is AMAZEBALLS! I so hope they sell it in the UK. Thank you for another great video, I've been subscribed to you for over a year and I still get crazy excited when I see you've uploaded something new :) Nerd alert! x

  • @pancakesaresocool again an ignorant comment by an ignorant person. Clearly has no idea at all about skin types ... why don't you go make some more pancakes. they are so cool and leave the makeup routines to professionals

  • Loves it:)

  • What do you have on your nails

  • YOU HAVE BEEN LOOSING WEIGHT!! HOWW!! lol i must know

  • Omg people are so mean here! I hope she just ignore all the unpleasant people that sub just to be mean! Jeez!!!

  • Can you list the products you use in the info section under the video? Thank you!

  • in what world is foundation, concealer and powder to set, too much product? in that case every make up artist in the world must apply too much product, i hope we dont all suffocate under this excess of product!! hahaha

  • Would those urban decay pencils stay on ur eyelids if u have oily lids?

  • Wow, you did a great job. It didn't look like you were wearing makeup at all! You so perrtty.

  • what brush is she using with the blue handles? is that from sigma too?

  • @keniarosemary Yes, Sigma bunny vegan brush collection. It seems like it is not instock currently though ):

  • i was wondering: how come you don't cover the dark area away from the tear duct under your eyes?

    xx love your videos!

  • is there anyone knows what nail polish on her nails?

  • @dyzZu I'm not sure, but she just got the new Kat Von D nail polish line, so I think it's probably the blue nail polish from the collection that came out with the Mi Vida Loca eyeshadow palette. It looks like it to me.

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you for your always incredible videos. I have learnt so much from you. I love this natural look :)

  • that concealer looks amazing

  • Yay I'm the same foundation color as you :D

  • @Candi69Lanes

What are you talking about? She is polite, especially considering how rude/unnecessary a lot of those comments are!

  • @Candi69Lanes What are you talking about? SHE NEVER REPLIES TO ANYONE!!! SHE GIVES A SHIT FOR HER SUBBIES!!! Lmao

  • whaat mascara did you use??

  • wow that highlighter looks great!

  • Hi Leesha, did you study anything related to make-up or did you teach yourself?

  • What do you think of the smell of Laura Mercier primer?

  • what mascara did you use?

  • Thanks for the video, I have a bunch of scarring and I never can really find the perfect foundation/ foundation technique. I will try this out and see if it helps, thanks Leesha

  • I'm real sorry but I speak French, it's not "touche eCLAY" but rather Touch Ecl-AH. It means Touch of Brightness

  • @AdrenalineHeat the whole point of loking natural is not about how much makup you apply but how you apply it. I dont think she applys too much makeup but she makes it look natural and like her skin is naturally that flawless and dewy. She wont 'suffocate' under that 'layer' of faoundation because in actual fact she didnt appy that much? Wearing foundation will not lead to premature again if you take care of your skin and keep it healthy, which i can gaurentee Leesha does.

  • @AdrenalineHeat no offense intended at all but why are you watching a video by a makeup 'guru' whose obviously going to use a decent amount of makeup, when you don't even wear much makeup?

It's all personal preference, some people (like myself) use heavy coverage foundation and concealer because of low self-esteem and such

This was a video on covering acne scars and a light foundation just wouldn't do that :) x

  • @AdrenalineHeat also, just as a side note

she didn't use a lot of each product but all together they look gorgeous.

skin can't suffocate, it's a myth that skin needs to 'breathe'

and makeup doesn't make skin age prematurely? :) x

  • @AdrenalineHeat the whole point of natural looking makeup is for it to LOOK that way. Ask any makeup artist, I can almost guarantee they will say some of the hardest looks are the ones that look like you are wearing nothing! If your skin can look that way with just a tiny bit of foundation, then thats awesome, im jealous!

  • @AdrenalineHeat Everyone's different and has different needs, just as this makeup doesn't work for you, your makeup might not work for everyone. You can "guarantee" you will suffocate under all that makeup? Really? So you've conducted a proper experiment? If so, I'd like to counter your previous statement about not being a makeup guru! -because you obviously sound like a makeup professional to me. Note, for future reference; when using sarcasm avoid using words that suggest literal meaning.

  • @AdrenalineHeat hehehe !! I realy wish to see your flawless face you must be adorable X) and you must be super lucky to be stress free and have enough sleep every night cause you don't have under eyes circles or acne to conceal ~ Congratulation :)

    -____- ?!

  • your hair looks gorgeous!

  • you hot

  • @MRslash288 عييييييييييييييب .. خخخخخخخخخخخخ

  • You should do a boyfriend does my makeup video!♥

  • Hey Leesha! By chance could you tell me what nail polish you are wearing?

  • If you have darkspots or basically acne scars, try using Pharmagel's Enzyme Excell scrub. I've been using it for like 6 years now and it seriously makes your face alot even. I have fresh scars and no old scars atm because of this scrub. I only buy it at Cosmo Prof but you can find it on Ebay or amazon but a lil pricey but definitely worth it. Its a really sandy scrub but its amazing. Everyone needs to try it!

  • You're beatiful. <3

  • you should try la roche- posey's mela-d pigment control. It is intensive, but not irritating. It's only for night use, so you really have to put on an SPF during the day time to protect your skin. I kid you not this got rid of every single acne scar on my face and took away a lot of dark pigment around my eye area around my eyebrows where idiot me waxed a little too harshly years back. Kinda pricey, but in my opinion my best purchase, probably of all time. Oh and I have only used half the bottle

  • What kinda brush is that?

  • Omg, I had thought I was crazy! I opened up my Narc shadow pencil by UD the other day and it completely fell out. Like, the entire stick of product...I haven't had it that long, so I assumed I had some poisonous devil touch that killed my Narc. But then I opened Wasteland that I got at around the same time, and it was doing the same thing - not falling out, but very loose. Now I see why, and that I'm not the only one, but I had no idea that would happen so quickly!

  • I think you would do good with a prescription product called Solodyn, If you have insurance for a Dermatologist, then take advantage of it. I've been taking it now for 3 months and my Cystic acne and all blemishes are completely gone. I use not only solodyn but the Clenia Facewash and Epiduo since my since is extra oily.

BTW Solodyn is really pricey without insurance. i only pay 20 out of pocket. My insurance pays 1000 :x

But its a miracle drug for me :D

  • @justintfan $1000!? must be one heck of a product!

  • @twirlyWIZ987 yeah when i saw the actual price, i was shocked, but it really does work. It is seriously a miracle for me tho, i have never seen my skin look this clear since i was 12, Im 21 now. its been a life saver :P I highly recommend.

  • @justintfan really!? im still young, only 17, but it seems as if ive tried everything and nothing's quite worked. but thank you i'll definitlely look into it! :D

  • Anybody knows what camera she uses?

  • Comment removed

  • You look awesome. Love the video! Keep them coming!!!

  • DUDE! your nail polish! if you don't tell us where you got it from or we will die!!! :'(

  • Don't use Mac , is awful for acne it makes it worse :/

  • It looks gorgeous! Usually they always say when you have acne you should use a matte foundation, and I hate matte :p

  • I don't watch you videos that much but I really like the ones I do watch except some of the very vibrant colored tutorials..But that is just my opinion!

    Thanks Doll,

    MissMkcheer (beauty critic)

  • Everyone keeps complaining about the breakouts on her face, but if you watched her previous video you would know that she said she tried out a new face product and it broke her face out really badly so, relax. That's the only reason her face is as bad as it is right now. People really don't need to nag on her every little imperfection.

  • I think Leesha is beautiful her hair is not stiff she just has thick hair and its short so it looks stiff but its not, and for her skin there is 95% of gurus with worst her isnt that bad dont worry Leesha its probably from the stress from people here looooool love u

  • I am just curious, you only powder your t-zone but not problem areas you applied concealer on. When you apply your bronzer, the concealer area was wiped away a little bit since the problem areas showed up again. Was it just because of the colors of this video or something? Don't get me wrong, I like your videos! I don't know if you notice that as well. I sometimes have that problem too. So I normally use the setting powder to set the concealed area before I put on any bronzer or blush. any idea?

  • I love dewy foundation!!!!

  • You are so lucky it's getting warmer where you live... It's only getting even colder here :'(

    Great video!

  • This may sound werid, but I LOVE YOUR TEETH...

lool.. My teeth r sorta messed up (not so much, pretty just two teeth)

so i love your teeth ;Dlool

  • I miss your old setting, it had better lighting. <3

  • I might be a bit sensitive about the subject, but I had such bad skin up to my dok told me to quit using brushes on my skin. the pimples would be spreaded more and I should avoid using anything at directly on the blemish, that I use again. so I started to use airbrush stuff for the foundation and add concealer etc with through away q tips etc. believe it or not-within 2 month I had no more new flare ups. I also started to use cleansing OIL before the cleansing milk and moisturisers at nite.

  • for foundation only of course-blush, eye powder and bronzer need brushes of course-but never for the foundation while the skin is *bare*

you are doing a fab job on hiding your flaws-I never ever thought your skin had probs that severe

  • @Yokita6669 If u watched any of her older vids, u can see she actually does use airbrush a lot.

  • @Cerrydwenn

I watch her for a very long time and I was wondering why she does the brush thing, whenever its bad for the skin like that-I heard her say that her skin was bad, but I never imagined it as bad as it is on this vid. but it may just be to show the technique-however, I was just stating experience and advice from the derma dok since my skin used to look even worse

  • @Yokita6669 I said in the video that my skin had a bad reaction to a product. its normally not even close to this bad, and all you see here isnt even breakouts, just post acne marks.

  • @xsparkage

thanks for letting me know-I was really worried - but regardless of what it is-you are doing a great job covering it. I had a black eye and other stuff in my face due to an accident and I wish I could have done that.....maybe you have a cover up tipp for really swollen eyes? due to meds I wake up and look as if I cried all nite-at those days I dont even wanna go outside, but I manage to get it covered somewhat (and call it tom jones look) it messes badly with my head

  • you are such a pretty girl with an individual style. love it!

  • the magic of makeup...haha...love it..can't live w/out it...such a difference..

  • this is a great tutorial. loved the tiny tips at the end to perk a look up. thanks.

  • @slytherinheir16 Yeah, I realise she added eyeliner at the end but I thought mek0626 was referring to the dark circles throughout the video not at the end. Sorry for any confusion =)

  • You look reaaally REALLY pretty with no makeup on!!

  • I LOVE your tutorials, you are by far one of my favourites because you explain everything as you go. There are no questions at the end. Keep it up!

  • You guys are idiots saying to change her hair back to her natural hair color... Her natural hair color IS blonde.

  • i soo miss your red hair :( lol sorry random!

  • what brand of brush did you use when you applied the mineral finish powder?

  • looks like shes lost weight

  • can you please do a drugstore brand foundation routine. Thank you if you do.

  • Crayon melting from Pinterest in the background. :P

  • Have you ever tried curl your lashes with a spoon? Just curious

  • what's your nail color??? :)

  • For the sake of your hair, you should dye it back to your natural color. I love your videos!, but your hair just doesn't seem to take kindly to bleach. It almost doesn't move.. But I'm soo not trying to be mean, it's just a suggestion <3

  • @peggymoa If you watch some of her older videos, she mentions her hair is naturally coarse and thick, like if she lets it air dry, it turns into a fro. Not to mention she uses wax and pomade to texturize and sculpt her cut. Hence, the lack of movement. Bleaching isn't really the problem. Sorry if this sounded mean, it's not meant to be. Besides, it's been long enough, I assume, that the damage from the major bleaching is gone by now. She just gets her regrowth done by a professional.

  • @peggymoa my hair is actually in great condition, I am constantly told by professionals that its some of the best condition theyve seen for how light it is. The reason it doesnt move is the texture and the product in it.

  • @xsparkage and, hey, you totally work it. we love it when you love it (: woo SENTIMENTAL. great vid as always <3

  • O dunno if dying it back would be the best-but no joke, you would look probalbly good bald-like the o connor girl-THEN it would grow back all natural and blowing in the wind....*gg* not you at all somehow - I can not imagine you with *regular* hair....

hihi when I decidet to let it grow naturally again-IT WAS GREYYYYYY

  • @peggymoa She's said she has a really thick course head of hair. So I can see why she plasters is down.

  • looking through old videos! please do another unwearable wednesday. So funny!!

  • you kinda look high lmao.

  • I loved this look, can't wait to try it using whatever I have to achieve a similar look

  • It's weird it sounded like you said sigmac brush lol

  • @Gothik79 now i see there is a sigmax brand

  • try applying loose powder with your hands.. it makes my makeup stay better and look a lot more natural and dewy... just a suggestion.. (^^ lovely look

  • I really love this Tutorial! I'm currently searching for a really good foundation that will cover all of my gross scars/blemishes but won't look cakey & feel like a mask. Would you recommend a MAC foundation or are there others you would recommend? :)

  • would u recommend that foundation for sensitive, dry skin with scarring? hows the lasting power??

  • this is super pretty!

  • Whats the name of the facial brush you use to clean your face, do you recommend any specific one?

  • @rinatyasulin Lololol her name is Leesha not Lisa!

  • i love ur nailpolish!!!!!!!!!!

  • I feel like thats SO MUCH to do in the morning. My routine is primer, pressed powder, blush. Then again I'm 17 and extremely lazy...

  • Matte foundation routine plssss. I'm a matte girl. =P

  • Leesha, you look very pretty even with those ''mistakes''

  • dont take offense but i think you missed some of the dark circles.

  • Love ur dewy glow foundation routine!!! Can u now do a matte finish foundation routine?

  • !! hi lisa!! please make more Videos like that , - basic look for work

  • @mek0626 I don't think she is wearing eyeliner because she says she is only putting mascara. It seems to be just shadows under eyes maybe sleep deprivation or maybe it's just what her skin is like. Anyway, I think this is just a basic tutorial for skin and normally she would do her eyes differently which hides the shadow. =)

  • @dottyxpeaches did you not watch the video? she added a blue urban decay eyeliner/eyeshadow stick under her eyes..smh

  • ps- awesome nail color!

  • Hey girl!

I watch a lot of your videos but never asked a direct question... hopefully you'll see this!

What's the story with everyone's different sides of the fence regarding concealer under/over foundation? Obviously it comes down to what you like, but can you give me your reasoning so that I might learn something to help me?

    Thanks :)

  • Ok guys thanks for all the replies :)

  • Your skin isn't even that bad without makeup! :D and OMG YOU LOOK SO MUCH LIKE LILLY LOVELESS!!!!! EVERYONE GOOGLE HER!!! ITS CRAZY!!!!!!

  • @TheFameM0nsters OMG i was just thinking that exact same thing! Naomi was awesome XD

  • @TheFameM0nsters i really really want her to do a skins naomi look....i just got super excited that you think she looks like her too lol

  • I finally bought the Mr bunny 12 brush set and the 4 Kabukie set from Sigma and I well never by another brush from anyone else I love them

  • Unrelated, but I used a neutrogena anti stress acne scrub thing. Broke my face out right around my mouth where yours was ! And I used it in like August and just started clearing up mid january.

No more neutrogena acne scrubs for me ....

  • have you tried the boi-ing concealer by benefit? i'm thinking of buying it because it got pretty good reviews but not sure..

  • omg leesha!! i had a really bad reaction too w/ that neutrogena product! until now still dealing w/ acne n crazy-scars! i loathe that product! its a curse in a tube/bottle!

  • Love the UD pencils! They work amazingg and JuJu is gorgeous!!

  • my dog just ate my concealer :-/

  • pause at 9:25

    derp c:

  • Is that a melted crayon portrait in the background!? :D

  • you should try a homemade turmeric mask to help with your acne and scares its amazing.

  • what are you wearing on your nails ?

please thumbs up so she can see ;)

  • does it get tedious washing multiple brushes every day?

  • I've been battling acne since I was 13! I'm 24 now!! When will it END!... Your skin is a lot like mine on a good day, I also have a similar foundation routine. I just love make-up because it gives me a boost in confidence and it also helps me temporally forget about my skin issues. Thanks for sharing your expertise!

  • what made her break out?

  • its sad that makeup is so dear :( it would help if it was actually in budget range :/

  • After 2 years with cystic acne and scarring, my doctor put me on some birthcontrol pills named Diane - and they changed my whole life. My skin cleared up after a month (3 weeks) and I had no scarring left. From heaven sent. But yes, I recommend asking your doctor for birth control pills, purely for your acne. Perhaps a little embarrasing for some, but truly worth it.

  • @MsBabyd0ll Unless you know your acne is hormonal and no other approaches have worked, do not take BCP just for acne. There are side-effects to taking BCP just as with any other prescribed medication. In fact, it could very well make it worse. Plus, there is a good chance that once you are made to come off of it (as you are not advised to stay on it past 35) that yo
