Based on what evidence? Write a paper disproving M-Theory backed by scientific evidence and send it to me; I need a laugh. Some of the top scientist in world worked on this theory, I'd love to see you even try do disprove it.
That's like asking me to prove there is no god. Those making the claim must provide the evidence that support their claim and those who promote M-theory have failed to do just that. They are ignoring the fundamental requirements needed to be called a scientific theory. M-theory falls into the same category as the "god theory"; it is nothing but fast talking bull crap. They're selling, not teaching.
We get that same argument from creationist DonsonJack; it doesn't work for theist so why would it work for those with math and physics degrees? That's like saying if you belong to the club you don't have to follow the same rules as everyone else; you know, something like politics. :-))
the M stands for Membrane.. But it's not necessarily membranes.. so they called it M-theory instead of membrane theory. At least that's what i heard.
