I think the reason people think this is a virus sometimes is cause when that little pop up comes up saying this is a virus i think it says that because it is attacking your minecraft folder in order to downgrade it (keep in mind i could be totally wrong and this could be a virus)

Nice but, its actually illegal for anyone to be offering public download of the bin folder contents. Because if you've got a jar file or, better yet, the entire bin folder, then someone could acquire Minecraft who did not personally purchase it.

Even if you have the pirated version of Minecraft, you can replace the bins and it will update to the full version of Minecraft the next time you log in.

@reilem Okay i finally got mod loader to work. I had to download the 1.5 beta version of it. Now the only (big) problem is non of the mods work now since they are all updated to 1.7.3. Theres no way of getting around this, i give up. Im going to have to wait a few weeks for mod loader to update and fix the problem. no use downgrading.

Hey,this tutorial is different then the way i had to do it.All i had to do is put the mincraft-1.7.2 into the bin folder.Then delete the minecraft.jar and rename the 1.7.2 to minecraft and it worked.
