then i would sand and buff so the edge is smooth and shinny, then put the tip back on...should sound alot meaner instead of that gay high pitch noise,,,,high pitch mufflers are for faggets that have no adams apple
you got to cut it at the right spot so that your tip will fit again...then you have to repack unless your carefull and just remove the packin that is necessary ....move your log and drill some holes of the rivet and re-rivet the log and the tip back on....simple process and with all the right tools it should be a walk n the park....just be carefull and cut strait or the tip will look shitty....i would take the muffler off and put it on a chop saw with a metal blade on it and cut very slow....
