btw people, if you didnt know, grenades make big explosions, just movie directors tend to put more "fire" to give the explosion some more spice to it, and nades do have quite a large damage radius

This movie is hardly fake. Most people talking crap have never been in a war, and judge off of video games and T.V. These misjudgements are made through ignorance of human anotomy(i.e people being shot repeatedly and surviving), and unobservance.

How are the grenades unrealistic? The first 2 Thrown landed by a pile of ammo and the second one hit a machine gun so of course the explosins are going to be bigger than usual.

People this is not only a movie, but a John Woo movie. Of course it will be very inaccurate and fake, it is John Woo's style. This is one of my favorite war films.

@luiskilla91592 Seeing how in the war, Americanssuffer way less casualties due to being better trained, better soldiers, better equipped and less stupid, I don't see how this is unrealistic.

The Japanese were not well trained or equipped compared to US marines and they constantly did human waves and banzai charges, which always led to disastrous fails. Look at Henderson Field, 80 Americans dead compared to 2000 Japanese. This movie simply shows Japanese failure in war against USA.

@abrymacc Quit making up history, it is common knowledge that Japanese military doctrine on land included human waves most of the time. Hendersen field is a good example out of many. The Japanese were fully armed, not out and ammo, and did banzai charge because of their pathetic military tactics and belief in an emperor.

lol ya ur right war in general isn't compared to call of duty, this however is a movie, and pretty unrealistic especially with the grenades xD but the part with the pistol seems like second chance lol but call of duty is unrealistic so windtalkers and call of duty are related.
