how to write alternative music? there should only be one way and that is to follow your heart. i believe thats how the experts do it. this aint classical music where frameworks guide the way you write. heck you dont even in a fixed structure or a chorus. so just let your imagination run wild and stay true to yourself. you cant go wrong that way.
