  • if i dont see you, you dont see me.

  • what is the difference between a F1 serval and a F2 serval

  • @CShoemakeTV An F1 is a first generation so one of its parents is a full blooded African Serval. An F2 is the offspring of an F1 :) thanks for asking!

  • Where can i buy two Serval kittens?

  • @iamindigo10 I don't know.

  • SO....I live...in a two acre house....pretty big reckroom...annnndd loooots of space.......

I also live in canada....how do i get one =3=

  • I have never seen these cats before tonight. I love them! Im seeing many people post videos of them and seem to be keeping them as house cats. However, I looked at couple diff web sites and they say they are not to be kept as pets. That they will run away and not be friendly... Can you please tell me what you experience has been?

  • where U find them?

  • a question i don't have any idea what F1 F2 F3 mean, can someone answer for me pls, i has cookies

  • @AngryLesby Serval/domestic Cat cross are the F1 generation, and they are 50% serval. F1 generation Savannahs are very difficult to produce, due to the significant difference in gestation periods between the Serval and a domestic cat (75 days for a Serval and 65 days for a domestic cat), and sex chromosomes. Pregnancies are often absorbed or aborted, or kittens are born prematurely. Also, Servals can be very picky in choosing mates, and often will not mate with a domestic cat.

  • Does Aesop spray a lot? I've heard that they do. Still want one someday when I can house and pay for it properly though.

  • @Henrika16 yes he does :-/

  • @ocellisavannahs Oh well, at least I will be prepared :)

Also, I'm not really a stranger to cleaning up cat pee, we have four female domestics that feel the need to discuss who owns what by spraying stuff every few days. Actually, I'm fairly sure it's just two of them that spray back and forth, but even though we have rearranged the house to suit them, the spraying still happens on occasion. Just one of those things I guess.

  • what is the price range for the Savannahs?

  • I was laughing at the little butt wiggle. So do all cats do that?

  • @MsRedqueen But wiggle? Yes all cats do that =)

  • The serval is like, "Leave me in peace, mate!" Such a beautiful cat.

  • il n'y a aucun son pouquoi???? je ne peut pas m'abonner tant que le son n'est pas mis merci d'avance 019480ify

  • damn that cat is huge

  • Guys its not really bad to keep so called "wild" animals as pets as long as your not keeping it in a cardboard box and feeding it stale bread.

  • Just beautifullllllll!

  • Gorgeous cats.

  • whats the other cat thats not a serval?

  • Just wow... All these ivory tower, self righteous chumps need to get off their soap boxes and leave people alone. I suppose they believe that if they instructed every aspect of all peoples lives from cradle to grave that then and only then those people would have a marginal chance at a successful life. If this line of logic was followed through the original people who domesticated cattle, dogs and cats are the scourge of the earth. Piss off... Beautiful cats, hope many years of enjoyment.

  • in all honesty I do not believe in having large cats as pets but if you are going to have any wild cat as a pet a serval would be the one.

  • i didn't know that true Servals could be owned as "pets",because they are actually wild animals, like panthers or pumas. Are you sure tht a Serval can stay in a close habitat? I know that some Southafrikaneers have got rather domestic servals, but they usually live outside in their boxes

  • okay listen. If having a Serval In a house Bad then why can people do it? Why is it legal then? I think it's okay to have one. It's like having a cat or a dog...

  • people are so dumb i own a serval and shes very happy shes in a 3000 sq ft climate controlled house and she eats 3 times a day and sleeps in my california king sized sleep number bed .people just dont get it cause they cant afford 1. plus people that knock having these as pets go to the zoo and look at the animals theres no difference just in the home there taken care of better

  • see these cats are gorgeous and make me excited but they are so much money to up keep i mean i know savannah cats go from like 22000 dollars and up and servals go from like 1800 and up but even after you buy the cat you still have to send massss amount of money on shots and food and all that stuff...i think ill just stick with being a student with some money instead of completely BROKE haha

  • I don't know what's up with the negative comments. These look to me like happy, well-kept animals without a care in the world. Domesticated cats have 2 or 3 times the lifespan of wild cats.

They sure are a beefy, powerful breed. What does F2 mean?

  • @spyro303 second generation removed from servals :)

  • did u had problem with him i mean attacking u

i dont know about these severl and Savannah are they same or

and what like those can i take it as pet i like it

  • Comment removed

  • @cheesburgerlolcats I am sorry you feel that way and can certainly understand. He wasnt born in the wild and not considered "wild" All cats are decendents of wild cats too btw. People have kept servals as pets for centuries, both as pets and as mousers in farming.

  • @ocellisavannahs They are beautiful animals, but I'm not sure I agree with the cross breeding.

  • @cheesburgerlolcats never had any pets myself, but i dont see whats wrong with domesticating wild cats. As long as its not dangerous to humans!

  • @cheesburgerlolcats Servals are descendants of a wild cat, just like all domestic cats are. Even domestic dogs are descendants of wolfs. Which cracks me up every time I think about my wiener dog being a wild wolf :)

  • @cheesburgerlolcats My theory is would you rather have these beautiful wild creatures be hunted by fur trappers, or let them live happy lives in a home like this?

  • @TeenyxBub  when did i say that =[ i love animals and it wud kill my soul to see one suffering, however living domesticated isnt the best choice for them either. and this is MY opionin if u dont like it the sod of

  • @cheesburgerlolcats Though, they do live longer, healthier lives in domestication. And cats like living in small groups anyway. If you have a serval you need a big house, an enclosure, raw meat or wild game and a heated shed.

  • @cheesburgerlolcats pppppfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffftttttttt, you're dumb.

  • @yoshiguy123 his IS my opinion u dotn like it then shut the f up

  • @cheesburgerlolcats Retard.

  • @yoshiguy123 nope sorry bud u got it wrong just cause i have an opinion thats different from urs doesnt mean im a retard

  • @cheesburgerlolcats Yeah it does.

  • @cheesburgerlolcats no, being a retard makes you a retard. retard.

  • @cheesburgerlolcats So what they're wild animals? That just means that they can be found in the same form in captivity as they can in certain area of the wilderness.

Feral domesticated cats live all over the world, does that make them less ethical to own because they can be wild animals too? Dingos are descended from domesticated dogs that were turned to the wild and are now considered wild animals, so are they more ethical to own then servals because they have a domesticated dog heritage?

  • @cheesburgerlolcats I hate how humans are making these WILD remarks.

  • @cheesburgerlolcats -chuckles- im not sure but i think your understanding how annoying all those people are rofl

  • @cheesburgerlolcats they certainly weren't born in the wild so..

  • Can you keep a serval in a normal home without a huge, closed garden?

  • @JaguarsSoul I wouldnt recommend owning one for many reasons. Savannahs make much better pets for the home and are much more practical.

  • @ocellisavannahs But these are wild animals, aren't they? Is it legal to have one in captivity? most important, is it right?

  • what an awesome video and your cats are beautiful.

  • @lifethroughmylens1 thank you!!! :-)

  • beautiful cats!

  • I have a question? I'm hoping to own a farm when I get older, and my main hobby would be exotic pets. I don't plan on having anyone else in my life. But my question is, how do servals do with other pets. Like say rabbit's, dogs, ( keep in mind I'm 16 and just being curious here, and would never get an animal if I could not properly take care of it). I'm also wondering do you require special licenses, and I've heard people will make random visits to your home for these types of animals.

  • I know a guy who has a F1 and he is a goon!!! Anyone who likes cats are sick in the head.

  • @777888555444 omg! there is this guy that owns a dog and he's a rapist!!! Anyone who likes dogs are fucked up in the head.

  • So b e a u t i f u l l ....LOVE them.

  • gdzie kupic takiego kota?

  • i dont understand why some people dispute other person's expenses...it's their money for God sake! i've met a lot of people who's willing to starve to death as long as they got the latest version of Gucci handbags...u may think it is a waste, but not to that people...so, why bother??

these 2 cats look healthy and happy...that's what matter....

  • How much cost a serval?

  • @Damienalixsouhabi

I have no idea, you would need to check with a Serval breeder.

  • @Damienalixsouhabi On average between 3-4 thousand dollars, and around 800$ a year in food, and in at least 150$ for vet checks and shots, and an emergancy vet fund of at least 1000$ in savings. You will also need a cat enclosure which could cost anywhere from hundreds (if you know how to build them) to thousands (if you need to hire someone) of dollars.

  • @Damienalixsouhabi They run at 1800-3500 dollars

  • @Damienalixsouhabi I think they are very expensive cat. I know the f1 savannas go for at lest 20 thousand or more in Usd

  • @heathfiedler A serval is only around 3000 in canada ,,where the hell did you get 20 thousand from ? :P

  • @fernbrookmangos i was speaking over Savannas with like i think they said 50% or more serval in them and being they are hard to breed they can be quite alot. and well i seen a site and i think something on tv about the price.

  • @heathfiedler That is weird , they are not that expensive for F1s here .

  • @fernbrookmangos hey send me a in box message and ill send you the site link i think i still got it. honestly i think they might be ripping people but then again i haven't seen their site and a while being i cant afford the cat xD

  • @Damienalixsouhabi 1500-2200

  • lol those cats cost more than ur bed :P

  • that is a big fuckin fouton

  • @IFIXUR360

ha ha, yes it is very heavy too!

  • @ocellisavannahs How much does it cost to feed one? I kinda guessed that normal cat food wouldn't suffice, im presuming something along the linfe of beef and fish? wich isn't exactly cheap, guessing that animal would need 2-3 meals a day...

  • @IFIXUR360 why fuckin ?

  • @IFIXUR360 That's the same size as mine... But it's not very heavy at all and looks almost exactly like the one in the video. Haha.

  • Are they declawed?

  • its not legal to own servalcats in my country.. stupid Swedish laws.. :(

  • Sorry you have to put up with idiots like patdown007, just remember, there are plenty of people out there that aren't 'a' holes like him! I wish peoplelike him just refrained from leaving comments on Youtube videos, it would make Youtube so much more enjoyable!

  • Booty wiggle pounce! My favorite attack ever! They look very healthy! 8D

  • @EnvoyofApollo

thank you! im glad you enjoy the clip 8D

    ~janet & co.

  • i love how once the first cat is under the blanket he just stays still, almost like his goal was to hide in his blanket cave. ^_^

I thought it was so CUTE when the savannah wiggles its tooshie before pounceing in the other cat's tail! xD

  • Is Aesop 100% serval?

How much do one of these cats usually cost?

  • Those are a couple of very spoiled, happy cats.:)

  • don't listen what some people say, your cats are gorgeous and I just love them! So fuck the haters and just keep on loving your beautiful cats. Thanks for sharing, I really liked it!

  • @patdown007

Like I said in my last reply you are one very rude individual and you sound like you have some major anger and jealousy issues. Get a grip! and leave me alone whoever you are!!!

  • @ocellisavannahs Don't worry. Probably some fat ugly bitch.

  • @patdown007 I don't think it really matters if she has a big or small place.

Also, what's the point of being curious about it, just enjoy the video.

  • @patdown007 holy crap,,, someones jealous!!!

  • @patdown007 I agree sir you have anger issues, and calling it a waste of money is like calling it a waste of life. You should be ashamed.

  • Ahaha the way his butt is sticking out of the blanket reminds me of some old Calvin and Hobbs comics!!

  • I have a bengal, but really want a serval awesome cats!! Is it true you have to have a license to own a serval??? You can watch my video, i have my little female bengal stalking the camera lol

  • How lovely and well cared for they are! I have been extensive research for future adoption of a Serval. My family is no stranger to adoption of rescued accidental hybrids (including one wolf and one bobcat hybrid). Our wolf hybrid rescue whom we adopted passed away last fall at the ripe age of 17! I hope to find the right match for us someday. You seem to be a wonderful home for those lovely animals.

  • @Umihime thank you very much! sorry to hear about your wolf hybrid. :-( I hope someday you will have the chance to have a Savannah. They are really awesome cats! :-D

  • How do you afford such expensive cats but live in such a small place. I don't get it

  • @patdown007 What business is that of yours?

  • Do you keep your Serval in his required enclosure or does he wander frequently?

  • @IceMinx

He never wanders. If he got loose it would be extremely hard to catch him if I was able to find him, so one of the most important things to ownership is taking this into consideration and modifying living arrangements to assure this never happens. I had an F1 who got out and was killed by neighbors dogs :-(

  • @ocellisavannahs oh, i meant wander around the house. ^_^

When I was researching servals and asian leopard cats, it said that they need an inclosure indoors. *sad for the cat you lost*

  • I love Savannahs and servals. Specially these ones they are very cool. :) I unfortunately have regular housecats. lol

  • please become a fan of Ocelli Savannahs on facebook to see our very latest special editions.

  • i have a F3 Savannah. Hes gorgeous and loves everyone even strangers! he walks up to pretty much anyone. but hes really close to me and my dad.

  • Isn't it dangerous to own a serval?

I mean, they are wild animals :\

  • I wouldnt recommend owning a serval as a pet. I wouldnt recommend having them around small children or strangers. They only bond with one person and that is a lifetime bond. They are not practical pets this is what makes the Savannah breed such a treasure. The best of both worlds :-) the wild looks with charming purrrsonailties!

  • AMAZING CATS! WOW! Thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you! Make sure to check out my "undercover serval" clip if you havent seen it yet. :-)

  • aww so cute ^^

    I love all cats

  • Im not sure which cat you are referring to but I can assure you none of them cost nearly that much, though I will admit to insanity!

  • i think he was reffering to the overall cost including the cat . This includes food, cage etc..

  • thanks! Its hard to know what people are talking about sometimes. The overall cost to keep a Savannah shouldnt really be anymore than most any cat. I do recommend high quality food which isnt cheap, regular immunizations, and an enclosure if you want to allow the cat access to the outdoors independently. It isnt necessary to cage them indoors and I would not recommend doing so.

  • I should add that one big thing a person wanting a savannah has to invest in is time, they need more interaction than your typical domestic does the lower generations also may need some modifications done such as cat proofing your home, but much depends on the cat, they are all individuals and how much time you put into training them.

The lower generations tend to be shy around strangers too I might add so leaving them with others has to be something else to consider if you travel much.

  • i watched a bunch of domestic Serval vids yesterday, i got all focused on buying one, then i realized California wont allow me to own one or i'll get fined and it will be taken away from me... i got all excited too, i really wanted to commit to getting one in the future.... YOU'RE SO LUCKY! worth every penny i bet!

  • Even in states where Servals are legal there are many other laws that can prohibit people from ownership. City, county, local ordinances are all something that need to be seriously researched before considering getting one. Savannahs are a great alternative. Servals really arent very realistic for most to own The laws are much less restrictive for Savannah ownership though some states do ban hybrids, the lower (aka early) generation Savannahs as well.

  • the one hiding under the blanket is a Serval, the other is a female F2.

  • Are you serious? Those are F2's???? They are huge!!! Thought they were Servals or at most, F1's!

  • I feel bad for the fish that live in that tank... LIFE MUST BE STRESSFUL

  • dont fret phobia, the fish actually enjoy the interaction and like to tease the cats. They know they are safe :-)

  • gorgeous cats

  • thank you! :-)

  • great video

  • thank you Im glad you like it! :-) appreciate the comment too!

  • I want one of these beauties =)

  • I hope you have the chance to have one someday too! They are very special.
