He bases his opinions on what he has "learned" from others. He bases his opinions on fascists who have no EVER learned for themselves, but tell him how to view the world.
Collective opinions?! If enough people, such as him collectively believe that another is responsible for him, of course it would seem right in his mind to undermine the individual... After all, the collective deem it as righteous, and the mob has rule over the individual.
