  • At first I was like: OMG he's driving like a pro!

Then I thought: Wait, that looks like scalextric...

Then I looked at the comments and went: Woah! Magnets? Thats awesome!

  • it is a good concept.but really they just took a rc car and put some magnets onder it

  • That's epic

  • whoa cute concept. Heeeeey when is someone gonna make a 1/64 4wd drift car?? I've seen 4wd conversions but I never get to see one of those with bearings or something also to replace the torquey engine =O

  • WOW. this is awesome. I would... I mean my kid would love to have this for christmas;)

  • Looks like a great concept.

  • In your next video you need to say "Because we're being hunted... ", "Even Nedry knew better than to mess with the raptor fences", or "Clever girl..."

Oh, sick slotless racing concept, also!

  • waw! only 1 battery!! >XD and so freaking fast!

  • British innovation at it's finest!

  • AMAZING. Now to make this even cooler: magnetic hovercraft.

  • Minitur Wunderland, a large working modelexhibition in Germany, recently said they would like to do a Formula 1 racing track, but didnt have the technology to perform passing maneuvers.

Could the technolgy here be controlled by a computer?

  • I'm currently trying to buy a big Scalextric Digital set for my newly converted loft. This seems a much better idea. How do I go about purchasing a large layout? I'm thinking 18ft x 6ft....

  • very good idea. the only thing that makes it hard to market ist that the track needs to be permanent. most people want something that they can store easily since they don't have room for a permament track. if the track was made of segments like an ordinary slot car track it would sell immediately.

  • I have a set like this with 2cars and the same type of track, I'll see if it works. It's pretty old World of Wonders Produced it I believe it was back in the early or mid 80's. If anyone is interested, let me know.

  • I still have a TCR (Total control racing) set that was a slotless car racing set with trucks back in 1982. You could change lanes with that too and overtake other drivers by just pushing the switch on the hand held controller.

    Awsome Idea!

  • "slot"-car future! :) no slots anymore!

gr8 idea! fantastic concept! well made! well done ;-) :D

  • how much is one?

  • World of Wonders (Maker of Teddy Ruxpin) came out with a set just like this. Steer by wire concept. I picked up a set at a toy show, never tried it out but I have the EXACT Cars.

  • where do i buy one of thes please and how much thx

  • wow, I was thinking to develop it but ... here it is....

  • Ok mate. It's been two years since you've posted this video, when does it go to market?

  • i went to your site. i was wondering where it can be purchased, or how it is made.

  • that looks sweete!!!

  • Still in the development stages I presume. Looks pretty cool...........

  • that's a cool design

  • where can you get such a battery charger

  • nice car but i would give that to a kid. i like nitro cars or brushless one that go over 75 mph.

  • yawps dere da BOMB!

  • so does everyone but there hardly gunna go on this track are they what a dick thing to say

  • would be even better with a contact based charging system like the faller cars....pitstops! would make enduro racing amazing!

  • i want thows cars and the track that would be alot of fun.

  • slot cars revolution !!! :O without train tracks :D

  • interesting concept.

  • Looks like a bit of the Faller system with remote speed control. I bet the car still comes off the track. Awesome and where can I get it or a plan???

  • but that takes no skill

  • Where to buy it and what does it cost?

  • well and truely awesome

  • This is a fantastic concept, is it commercially available ??

How long will the car run on a fully charged battery ?

  • @PSRRFH this was my idea dam it except i would take off the guide pin that connects the car to the track line and run a full metal track so the car is powered by the track so you no need batteries

  • Great idea, anxious to see more cars racing!

  • Can you imagine 3 or 4 cars going round.Fantastic system. Where do we get one from?
