@dankhanks I've put the link to my tab of this piece in my comments about it. If you expand my comments, you'll find it. I play it slightly differently to Gareth in 1 or 2 places.
You just proved to me that this can be played without a thumbpick and gave me a new confidence. Thank you sir, you played very well and i'm very impressed.
oi O.o. why so pro one! this is like the original! not fair! :( i wanna be able to play like this. :D did u use the thumb, index and middle finger only? or do u use completely the 4 fingers? how long did it take you to master this song D:
Hi Nick - thanks for the comment. I did a tab for this after discussions on the Tommy Emmanuel forum. I've added the link into the info for this piece
jst a tip - the part where u 'fluffed' it. Try a G major banjo roll using your thumb first and second finger. theres a gd vid on youtube of richard smith explaining how to do this. makes a world of difference to this part of the song ;)
Hi Stew - the tip is right - I used to play the bluegrass banjo. Just fluffed it, I'm afraid. Once a bit of a run goes wrong, the whole run goes wrong!! Thanks. BTW, Doyle Dykes uses this technique superbly.
That's amazing. You play faster than your own shadow. Man, if I could play like that I wouldn't be stuck in Norways most boring town. Keep up the good work, just make sure your fingers don't run away. And again insanely good performance.
owhhh god ,i want maton guitar T_T

This poor guitar. It was probably just laying in it's case all cozy. Then this guy came walking up and the guitar thought to itself, "oh $#!7."

I tabbed it myself off a couple of Gareth's videos. He's a great young player - very polished. Thanks for the comments.
