  • ."LOVE cannot live without TRUST." as what cupid and psyche wants to convey.,

  • I always thought the god/mortal relationship was a play on class struggle and whether or not people can see each other for who they are and not labels.

  • CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THE NAME OF THE MUSIC? OR HOW AN I FIND IT?

  • @Narciiiissus , Chris Spheeris with "Eros"

  • Most beautiful story ever told <3

  • I don't remember Psyche getting w/ Pan...or Hermes. Some1 explain 2 me plz.

  • your video is brilliant. Thank you so much for these pics and also for the wonderful music background of Chris Spheeris... he's of Greek origin and his music fits with this ancient greek myth :-)

    it's magic.

  • What's the name of the song used in this?

  • @teberli123 Chris Spheeris - Eros

  • i love their story so much....

  • @imolwayzbeme

i dont get it.. why wouldn't Cupid allow Psyche to see him? just because he thinks that she would worship him as a god and not really love him?

  • @musicindisguise He was probably stung by the fact that she didn't trust and obey him, and Venus was probably feeding him a lot of stuff as well. He was also a mommy's boy in the myth if I recall correctly...

  • Shantiliu... you are AWSOME for making this Video... it makes me wanna cry...

  • @mykEe92 don't cry for art! those paintings & statues remain after us! they are the proof of our passage on earth

  • In the story the oracle told her parents she would marry a hideous monster

she must have been jealous lol

  • I love this story, she was made immortal for her for Cupid.

  • Ilike the painting by David. It makes Cupid and David look like a couple of cheeky teenagers having a crafty bonk when when the adults were out of the house.

David always struck me as a glum bugger so it was nice to see oneof his paintings with a bit of humour in it.

  • In my perspective they should both look like adults espicially Cupid if u know what I mean

  • yes, bcz it's about Love

  • I'm not really into Greek Myths but... I LOVE THIS MYTH! Its sooo beautiful and stuff! I so glad you made this vid. ^-^

  • ty, maria. a little beauty in our life is never too much :))

  • I could not let such a beautiful video go unrewarded and not write a poem inspired by it.

For you shantiliu, a poem inspired by your beautiful video.

  • ty, bluehaze for your incredible beautiful poem.

  • Psyche you betrayed me as lovers always do. Is love not a darkness, Psyche? We surrender to love and lose ourselves to each other. Psyche such darkness is binding, blinding. We open our eyes to find self and it is gone. Psyche you betrayed me as all lovers do. Psyche I must leave you.
  • Psyche you betrayed me

    but love betrays us all,

    or do we betray love?

Psyche you beauty is the sun

    to me.

    Psyche you betrayed me,

    as all loves do,

now you must seek yourself, me,

    in darkness, Psyche

  • Psyche is not love a darkness, that takes the self from the self. Psyche you betrayed me as all lovers must do. Look for yourself, me, in the darkness that is love. Look for yourself, me, and one day you shall see me in truth and love. When all hope has gone, look for yourself, me, in the darkness and find me. When you have given up on love, life, look into the darkness, and find yourself, me, Psyche.
  • Psyche you betrayed me as all lovers must do. Mistrust and suspicion come between us. Psyche I gave you myself, only my face I asked you not to see. Psyche I did not ask for much. Yo have betrayed me as all lovers must do. Now my nostalgic heart must depart from you. Look for yourself, me, in the darkness. Psyche I must leave you. In the darkness, look and bring back one pot of Persephone's beauty cream. look for your self, for me, In the darkness, Psyche.
  • Psyche your audacious beauty made Aphrodite jealous. I was sent to bring punishment upon you. I stumbled and fell, pricked by my own arrow. Psyche you listened to them, Now a darkness separates us, Psyche I love you; The lamp you held high, so you in frightening solitude must go. Psyche you betrayed me, as all lovers must do. Look to the ants, the bees , the water-reeds and find yourself, me, in darkness.
  • this is one of my favorite greek myths.

    thanks for the video =]

  • Psyche my other self I stumbled pricked by my own arrow. Psyche your beauty exceeds the stars such beauty stunned me, and I fell. Psyche with dawn I must leave you Seek me not or my face look upon. Psyche, you held the lamp high. You betrayed your promise. In shocked delight at the sight you fell and pricked your self. Psyche you betrayed me, as all lovers must do. Psyche I must leave you.
