Did you get those PSA lowers straight from the package? Or did your FFL play with 'em and shit beforehand?

Kudos! You finally got the "Smile Stock"! Be sure to stake that plate to the castle nut, and blue lock tight that grip screw! I have not tried anything in an SBR configuration with it though.....BTW....$350 is nothing compared to what you'll spend on ammo! Lube properly and have fun.......Congrats!

I dont plan on putting the happy stock on the SBR, but I'm sure it will one day just to try out.

Hit those lowers with some oil, you probably won't see it.

@exodipus ...yup I did, they went away for the most part. Just kinda bummed to see them so scuffed, but they look solid. I hope the uppers I get for them are nice and snug. They fit my Stag upper perfect.

@techdeckdude4 ...I have all Troy Rails. The TRX is loosen 2 small bolts and it slides off easier than those pain in the ass plastic ones, and the other MRF rail has 1 bolt securing the bottom portion that is quick disconnect to run the M203. So to answer your question, not hard at all.

@barnettzack ...right on dude!!!! 4 months is the going wait time. I'm also going with a 11.5 barrel. Going with the DD lightweight with the .625 gas block, and a TRX EXtreme 9" rail. I hope you make a video on new SBR!!!!

@fatboyR6 nice! i also wanted the lightweight DD barrel, but they were on back order. so i went with the DD M4 profile. Fixed A2 upper, and the old CAR-15 stock. total the gun weighs 5 pounds 8 ounces. so light u could shoot it one handed if you needed to kill some evil paper :P my buddy @ work is building a cheap 10.5" sbr from left over parts, that him and few buddies had extras of. he spent like $250 so far! also i do intend on making a video on the gun.

I also plan on using a bunch of spare parts for the slide fire build.
