Was this an EMI/Marconi broadcast, or was it via the Baird system? Baird's could have been recorded (as it used intermediate film) but not sure how Marconi could have been!
This is part of a program about the future of television. It includes a sequence where the years 1936 to 1939 and 1946 are shown - The London Television Service being closed down from September 1, 1939 to June 7, 1946. This must therefore be Marconi/EMI from 1946 or later.

The actual number of scanning lines for the Marconi EMI System is 405.
