  • Dose anyone here belong to a Methodist church ?

Tell me about your church, I want to learn.

Thank you and God bless you through Christ our Messiah.

  • @Bethcat61 I belonged to a Methodist Church from 1968 to 1978, and now attend Penninsula Bible Church, which has their sermons available in print or audio at pbcc.org . Why do you ask?

We sang this song nearly every Easter at the Beaverton United Methodist Church in Beaverton Oregon, and I loved it then, as I still do. The words and music seem to get more powerful every year. It is probably simply that I am getting to know my Lord and Savior better every year, don't you think? -Kevin M

  • Oh, Steven Green! He's great. <3

  • He is Risen!

    He is Risen Indeed!

    Have a Blessed Easter!

  • Unless a man is born from above, he cannot see nor enter the kingdom of God. You are only speaking from a heart that is darkened in its understanding, evven as we once were.

May God's life-giving grace be poured out upon you this resurrection Sunday so that you would embrace the lamb of God who takes away your sins. To deny Him is to deny the only source of eternal life and deliverance from the wrath that is to come upon all unbelievers.

  • If you're right what difference does it make? And if we're right - who is the fool?

  • good video bless

  • look up "john daker", he rocks at it.

  • Good song thanks for posting

  • To Christ the Lord be all glory honour and power we truly serve a loving Lord. To thouse against his judgments he will judge you in the measure in witch you judge others.

  • good song. the pictures were shitty though. lava and space are physiochemical phenomenon.

  • Read National Sunday Law by Jan Marcussen and be blessed, truly inspirational!!!

  • much confusion ariseth because people disagree on the definition of the word "christian". i prefer the biblic definition. a christian is one that is a practicing member of a church with clergy that have ordinations on a line of ordinations stretching back to the 11 apostles that christ sent on the great commission. unless a man have that kind of ordination, he hath not the great commission.

  • Perhaps the Biblical defintion is a member of the Body of Christ who is being made like Christ.

  • about 5 years ago, i switched from baptist to Catholic. i left the baptists when i saw that the Christian Church had to exist ever since the Apostolic era. no protestant or baptist or restorationist sect has been around that long. also, many protestants and baptists and restorationists claim that the Bible is the only source for Christian teaching. yet the Bible cannot be the only source for Christian teaching. one should focus on the fact that Christianity existed before the Bible did.

  • 314 AD is hardly the "Apostolic era". The body of Christ HAS existed since the time of the Apostles, and the members of it are those whom God makes members of it; and this is by grace through faith, therefore: the Roman church, denying the Gospel, is found to be a false body and a lost institution. How much of this history did you check up on?

  • even if the catholic church is wrong, the basic question remains: which church has clergy with ordinations stretching all the way back to the apostles?? does yours?

  • If it is wrong, men trusting in it will go to hell. Do you understand the gravity of that?

  • to studier101----from your website, i guess you are a calvinist. ironically, calvin never would have heard of christ and/or the bible if it weren't for the catholic church. the catholic church preserved the bible and the memory of christ through the centuries before calvin came along. admit it-----your religion owes its existence to my religion.

  • And if the Catholic church had its way, Calvin still wouldn't have heard of Christ - at least the Christ of the Scriptures who is real and saving. Who preserved the Scriptures until 314 AD? Who preserved the Old Testament? The VAST majority of manuscripts (Byzantine Majority) were of Byzantine custody. Really, what you are saying is equivalent to someone who would say "The pharisees kept the Old Testament". Does it matter if God used them this way? Point is - Pharisee's doctrine leads to Hell!

  • around 314, emperor constantine legalized the church, yet the church already existed with her line of clergy stretching back to the apostles. in hoc signo vinces

  • Nope, no mass, sacraments, or primary Bishop before 314 AD; only in pagan emperor worship.

  • the sacrament of the mass and eucharist can be seen right in the bible, where the bread was transformed into christ's flesh for the lord's supper. actually, the lord's supper does bear resemblance to an ancient babylonian pagan ritual. i think christ decided to promote his own glory by using rituals that were similar to babylonian rituals. when christ was a kid, he was visited by magi from the east. the magi may have been from babylon, and they may have taught christ about the rituals.

  • The teaching is not there in any honest form.

"they may have taught christ about the rituals"

Come on, is this the certainty of faith that Rome offers?

Mystery Babylon is the Harlot of Revelation!

  • the 1st 2 chapters of the book of revelation lead me to believe that the book was about things going on near the time that the book was written. i believe that the term "babylon" was a code word for "rome" i think the whore of babylon was the pagan roman empire. i think the beast with the 666 was a roman emperor ( likely domitian and/or nero caesar ). domitian was very much like nero. i have read that the numeric value of the aramaic form of the name "nero caesar" adds up to 666.

  • I have a question. If Revelation was written during the time that it was happening, what time is it now? Because surely the world would have been destroyed by now, according to the Bible.

God is a God of Wonders

  • i think the war of armageddon and similar verses in the book of revelation were dealing with heavenly battles between good and evil, not battles on earth. thus there was a lot of symbolic language, that is difficult to understand. also i believe that christ's 1000-year kingdom is in heaven, not physically on earth, and i think the term "1000 years" is a metaphor for "eternity". in some other part of the bible, christ said that his kingdom is in heaven, not on this earth.

  • check out bibleortraditions home page here on youtube and check out his video series on the 7 trumpets and the 7 vials of God's judgment.

  • The world does not get destroyed this is a huge misconception of revelation. The world is without end, what we see rather is a judging a and a reward and the gloriouse resurection of the saints.

  • what I mean here is "rather the judgment and then the reward and then the gloriouse resurection of the saints". The world will burn up but it will not get destroyed it will be re made.

  • well what is the Pope but a Ceasar the whole Romen Papacy is the Ceasar system with Christian names attatched to it. Your right nero adds up to 666 yet so does Vacarious Filii Dei means the name of the pope! The vicar of the son of God is Blasphemous saying the pope is the second part of the trinity and that he is holy is an abomination.

  • i assume that you reject the literal interpretation of christ's words at the last supper. i prefer to take christ's words in the bible literally, except in cases where the literal interpretation would make no sense.

  • John 6: 26-40

In the context, Jesus says that the work of God is to believe on Him. Just like the "living water" that he told the woman at the well of, Christ is here speaking of the eternal life which is in Him through partaking by faith of His atoning sacrifice on the Cross. Interestingly enough, the Lord's supper was before the cross and while Jesus was present, so I don't see how you can say that it is His literal body. Anyway, one is made a partaker through faith (alone).

  • the byzantine church was catholic. although many byzantines eventually rejected the authority of the bishop of rome, they had the most important thing: the line of clergy stretching back to the apostles. even now, the bishop of rome recognizes the legitimacy of the byzantine ordinations. by contrast, protestant and baptist and restorationist sects do not have these ordinations.

  • They don't even follow the pope, besides; there was a time in Roman Catholic history when there where three or four Popes at once. And recently, there were Catholics who refused to recognize John Paul II as a Pope. Finally, you have infallible Popes condemning other infallible Popes. It is anything but an orderly, Apostolic, ecclesial government; it is an empire and a circus rolled into one, like Rome (But it did not come from God).

  • thanks for sharing..it's a blessing.. wonderful work.. we have wonderful and loving, faithful Saviour and LOrd..

  • prase the lord!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sir, I am going to pray for you. Anything to make you say such things must hurt a lot. Whatever it is, Christ IS risen, and He CAN save ANYONE, including you. He loves you, DarkLord. He wants you to love Him back.

God is a God of Wonders

  • Rotting minds of the weak, continuing to spread their god disease. I've done my masters bidding, summoning Lucifer from the Earth. Ending their plight, ending their faith. Ending their lies, ending their fantasies. Go away son of god, stay buried in your grave. You were weak, you were a liar. Move forward and appear, my lord Lucifer. All of us await for thee. Dark worship in Lucifer's name, embrace the darkness. Wildness burns deep inside of me, destroying the ignorance called christianity.
  • I have a question - do you believe that Lucifer was once an angel of God, and that he was thrown out of heaven?

God is a God of Wonders

  • Death from the sky, you won't survive. Darkening clouds will fill the skies. Vaporizing all your prayers, burning them away. A funeral held for the lies of christanity. All humanity will soon learn, That jesus christ shall never return. Final day of christianity. Leviathan rises from the raging sea. Seize the power and glory, Lucifer is calling. I am Satan, master of the Earth. Condemn your souls for all they're worth. Bow down and worship me, 'Cause I'm your savior for all eternity.
  • praise God! I love this song, and Steve Green is such a great singer, and all for God! I love God and Steve Green! They both rock!
