I agree with you, the acting was pretty terrible. As a Dragon Ball fan, I was disappointed that they didn’t do more with the film and that it was so short. However, some of the action scenes and the graphics were cool at times. The story flowed excessively fast for me. I feel like the director could have slowed it down a little more. I rented this movie at my local "Blockbuster Video" before it closed down, I mean I knew this movie wasn't a bonified box office hit like "Watchmen".

Since first watching it, I've actually grew to enjoy it for what it is, a campy fun martial arts fantasy film, but this is deffinently not, NOT, what "Dragon Ball" fans want. I've seen "The Last Airbender" and (If you want know what I thought of the movie, go to the comments on my channel), and I think Noah Ringer could play a good Goku.

Indeed, children's eyes are getting used with special effects, they need a believable story to back it up... not the case in that shitty movie.

k, I liked Shenlong and Ozaru but that's my opinion. Yamcha's acting was horrible and Justin Chatwin could have done better with his acting. I liked the way Piccolo looked, and I don't know if you noticed, but his suit has the same outline as his body done in the show, they should have just paint that suit the same color as his face or something. And I don't think Piccolo wears the purple thing till Z so... but I could be wrong, all in all I thought it was a great adaptation (compared to others)

What they should have done was just call the move dragball a new beginning. And have it be in the future. That way the director could have brought new villians and heros to the movie the heros could have been related to the orginal charcters. Also if they would have done this the story line could have went any way they wanted and so many fans wouldn't be pissed off.
