And yes, I agree the used Candyland games are always taped up on the corners and missing Gingerbread men. This is certainly NOT worth my 2 bucks. ;D! It's o:k, ignore me. I would LOL!
You said it right. Most of the pre order stuff is crap anyway. It doesnt tempt me as much as it used to. I get discounts at Best Buy . Thats the other reason used doesnt usually temot me.
I find it odd that at Gamestop, you can sell a game back and get like $1.50 to maybe $10, and they turn around and sell it for $20 to $50 and mark it as used. I buy new just because I hate having used things, no matter what it is really.
I hate used games too. Used stuff in general. Especially, like you said, if I am only saving $5. I stopped selling mine to them a while ago because of what you said. I get 8 and they sell it for $55. No way.
I never noticed how many people buy used games and game systems until the day after Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law and I were waiting out in the snow for 3 hours to get the playstation 3 bundle, and everyone else was talking about getting the used nintendo ds and stuff. I compared the prices in the store while waiting in line, and they weren't really saving much money by buying used. But, if it gives their children more of a Christmas then so be it :)

i always get my recently released games with 15-25 off from craigslist
but the devs have a stupid workaround that, its called preorder bonus crap
but i get price cuts from amazon anyway so what the heck

Craigslist. Advertise your games FOR SALE OR TRADE! This way...you and the other party both get what you want.

Half the world is middlemen. If you can buy it from a user, that might be worth it.
I've bought DVD's for 6 or 7 bucks this year. Preowned, in great condition. I was happy with that.

I've had that too. And w hen I try to return them they act like I"M suspect. When they probably new it was damaged in the first place.
