Really? Are some idiots really suggesting that because this song and Innocent are about normal young people being depressed and going through tough times, that one is a rip off of the other? Wow..this song really pulled me through. The first verse is like exactly about me, if you change "mother" to "father." When I first heard this my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and the doctor's were like "yeah, we can't save him." My dad is my hero, so, I was really hurting. But we all turned to God in prayer. My dad's cancer is GONE and he's only the second person the doctor's ever seen live through the treatments for stage 4. Thank you, God.

i know how you feel. only it was my mom. she had (im believing its gone) a rare cancer that happens in maybe 1/1000 people. its all genetics. this song is stil my prayer. im glad your dad is healed. its what were all working for.

@laina5557 Exactly this happend with my mother, twice. The first time she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had chances to live. The second time the doctor diagnosed that she would die in 2 months. This time she had lung cancer. "It is a matter of time till she dies" doctor said. Despite what he was saying, I was by her side all the time. And just like your father, one day that she went for tests the doctor said that there was no cancer. I don't know what happend. Just two words. Thank you.
