A very entertaining (read: "funny") bout, indeed: like 2 enraged 3-year olds battering one another for a right to play with a rattle. It's both entertaining and moving. Never had I seen a bout I could call "moving", but this is it! Absolutely! At any rate, I'm glad for Nagashima to have won: the chap has been derided left-and-right for things one does not deserve to be ridiculed or despised for.
jienotsu seriously showed his potential after chainging his style at this tournament. japan has some of the best lightweight fighters in the world and winning the japan tournament by 3 consecutive knockouts is no small feat.if he can keep up this current style and incorporate some more kicks, he could be a world class fighter. Nakajima is also a great fighter and did extremely well for just starting out. masato even favored him to win. i expect a lot from him in the future.
Nakajima has got a long way to go if he wants to compete with the top 16 in MAX. Kraus is gonna eat him alive. He looks way to green to be fighting in the top 16.
Fun fight, but these guys are eating shots left, right, and centre. At present they lack the power and speed - and above all, the strategy - to deal with the international elite fighters.
@artofpoetry Oh, I completely agree. Nakajima has some potential though to be at competitive J-MAX level fighter. Maybe will make Final 8 one of these years -- but no further.
@tottenham19 he has made a lot of improvements over the past year though, who knows har far more could take him. I think he learned a lot from that brutal kraus knockout.

@tottenham19 Yeah, I agree with you. He's certainly entertaining. If he can work on his strength and stamina, he will become a stronger contender.
