Ahhhhhhhhh the Goodle Days of the Portland Blues scene - my wife and I spent over 20 years going to gigs there and Lloyd was always our favorite (along with Paul DeLay, of course). If you saw him on the street without his guitar you would think whose accountant was he -- and then he would open up his mouth and sing and play that stinging tone..... and DANG!! He would suddenly be the funkiest white guy on the planet! Bless him, he's still there playing his heart out!

The Lloyd Jones Struggle are coming to White Rock in Saturday June 20th 2009 to play for the White Rock Blues Society at the Pacific Inn Hotel in South Surrey BC. Wow! What a treat. These guys are tight, solid and so good on the ears. Listen to that guitar sing.
