I believe the reason we bleed longer using tampons is because it blocks the flow. Where as a pad, it just pours out. But with a pad, the minute the blood hits the air, it causes a smell. Tampons block that more.

I just wanted to say you this was very comprehensive. One thing I wish you would have touched on was sexual aids like gels, sprays, lubricants sold at sex parties. A lot of my friends have reported issues dues to these products.

Ok I just want to say that it's not completely abnormal for a girl to have brown discharge...especially if she is young and/or missed a period. I've had this many times and I've done my research.

Now, it is quite fine for a person to "Spot" during ovulation. When the ovum (egg) bursts out of the ovary a tiny bit of blood may result which can enter the discharge and if oxygenated become 'brown' but, when is brown discharge okay in exchange for a missed period. Please share source.
PS After a period as the vagina cleanses it may pass missed clots

One thing you should know is you must vary your sources when doing research and NEVER take anyone's word for it. spotting a brown discharge in relation to another biological event like ovulation,ended period etc is ok. But, a persistent BROWN discharge, especially if watery and/or accompanied by a foul odor is NOT.
Im just a person from the internet. Dont even take my word for it. If you experience concerning symptoms please see your health care provider.

I can't use pads because my flow is so heavy, even with a maxi pad I would be changing them once an hour or so. BUT! I found a brand of Tampons that use unbleached cotton, and all natural fibers. It's basically just a natural wad of cotton, so that's a great alternative to pads.

@iDiamondDiva I dont use a substitute for deodorant. I use the fluctuations of my body to know what is going on inside. If I start to get an aroma under my arms I shower more & eat less meat and more veggies & fruit over the next few days/week/months until there is no longer a scent.
I have scene all natural products in the health food store, a sort of clear ball you use under your arms. Everyone's body chemistry is diff and u shld research natural methods which may work for you

Thanks for doing this vid because my mom was so old school and i guess she was shy to talk about this stuff and gave me at 11 a book to read...yea i read it but then what...so i found out alot of this stuff through trial and error and girl talk, for one i like the Vagisil feminine wash..it has aloe vera so it does get to dry and itchy because of shaving or whatever and it also has chamomille which also soothes the skin from shaving irritation..its great

I can understand that some people prefer to be natural and that is their choice. The only thing that seems very contradicting is seeing that you are using hair dye. I hope that that did not come across the wrong way but if you really think about it that can be a bit confusing (considering that you are into natural things).
