Lol@showing those notes who's the boss.I agree he powned those notes ! Same here, this tune is so addictive I'm totally doin' the "Will Forte".Now people are staring.
That was funny at the beginning of your video where you gave the radio a little hit. LOL. Didn't see that in your other postings! Hey, thanks for all the song enjoyment you are helping to provide. Helps me in shopping for these oldies.
Thanks--you're the only one who's mentioned that. I started the banging on the radio with the last few--just wanted to add a little twist.. There are lots of folks posting oldies. I specifically focus on ones that aren't already posted so as to fill in the gaps.
'Boz'. I thought that was in the mid-'70s. Saturday Night Live, featuring John Belushi as Al, had a skit about this event, which must've been relatively current in '75 or '76. That's my best recollection. I didn't think it was in the least bit humorous. Not a bit.
Passes too quickly. Al's trumpet is a signature-sound of the '60s. My Parents had the albums and we had a happy, music-filled, home back then. My Brother took up the trumpet in '70 and it turned-out that he was a natural. Good memories of wonderful times.
How I remember this as a kid 40+ years ago ! ! An amazing musician !
The beat backing this tune is Bossa Nova! That's why we all love it so ! ! !
I have created a playlist called 'Bossa Nova - the Magic Beat'. 65 songs so far and growing - this Brasilian rythm took the world by storm about 50 years ago.
My 220+ playlist are specific by artist and years 1950-1999. Each is a cyberalbum in itself, most play for over an hour.
There hasn't been a station in Philly to play the kind of variety that 1340 does since the demise of WIP in the late 80s. Happily many of my postings are now played on WHAT.

The second time around, yeah. (The first time was the theme from "Casino Royale.")

@exodia1510 No, you're thinking of "Casino Royale" by Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass.
