I didn't attend FAMU! I attended GRAMBLING STATE UNIVERSITY! Just tellin the truth. Just because I attended GSU I'm not going to be bias and say that we're the best! Let the truth be told, SU is the best at what THEY do and Grambling is the best at what we do! marching in Grambling band I've traveled the world because people love music not noise! I actually know a little about Grambling, With 4 Bayou Classic, family in Shreveport and Grambling Alum, I've gotten to know just a little about them. I have nothing against Grambling actually, I respect all of our Schools of heritage.

Southern has been doing that exact show since 1997 and the that same formation since i was in the band in 1990! They do the star formation or the circle formation(never satisfied or cold hearted snake)! They also break down in groups of 4 or 2 with the whiteboy! That Year in Houston SU band got Boo'd!!! Gram. did a tribute to the Katrina victims and Doc(SU) because he was retiring!! SU band didn't even play in the second half of the game! If u went to the game you know what I'm talkin bout! KKY

Most bands do similar drills from year to year, actually you are supposed to do better what other bands can never do....like put the score on the field.

Apparently you can't talk without cursing so I forgive you for your lack of intelligence this time, I know how it's done because I was in the Jukebox, However you don't see anyone else doing it in the swac do you? (Maybe I missed it, let me know) but this is something that is signature to the Jukebox, also the circles, starz and so on is also signature to the Jukebox. There is an age old proverb that states..."If your enemy can not beat you at what you are doing, keep doing it."

Plus, if I might add, what I meant by "same show" is there are only so many things you can create on the field with 160 or more people on the field, so most bands do step 2, step 1, floating objects, circles, stars, crosses,or whatever, same stuff, different order. The question is, who can perfect it?

There are many creative formations that can be shown on the field. I've been on both sides and I've seen many bands. I know about SU! Can you really say that you know anything about Grambling State? I remember growing up watching these bands at the circle city classic in Indianapolis. I still love college bands of all kinds now especially after being in a few. Check out West Virginia Univ. simple gifts circle formation at the 2006 sugar bowl...Different style but still cool
