  • That fire was crazy. And It took them forever to get it cleaned out..

  • awwwww that is right by my house and it looked scarry

  • you saw how hot that fire was. my turtle survived in his tank until the next morning which you see at the end of the video. the firefighters went back in to check for hot spots and found him poking his head out to see what was going on. his name is Mr. Tina

  • What an emotional video. The horns sent chills down my spine.

  • i lived on the third floor of this building the night of the fire was really scary and most of all i got trapped and was rescued by a man that had just moved in. how lucky is that? its cool that you taped it i often wondered how the fire looked. after i came out i was rushed to the hospital and treated for burns to my airway and lungs. i'm ok now.

  • I'm glad you're ok! It sounds like you were quite lucky. I hope you didn't have much trouble finding another place to live. I pretty much just snagged up the first apartment I could find in S. College.

  • How long were you filming before the air horns? The air horns are used as an evacuation signal.

  • I lived in this building while I was going to school at Penn State. Thankfully, I was out of town when it happened, so at least I have some clothes. I feel horrible for the people who lost everything on the third floor and especially for the older residents of the building. This is going to be a painful transition for them, compounded by the unfortunate time of year. I had met many of my fellow residents, and they were all good people. At least they are safe. Keep them in your thoughts.

  • Sad...The building was originally built as a Cadillac dealership, designed by Bellefonte architect Anna Wagner Keichline.

In the background of the daytime shot, you can see the vacant hill where the Bellefonte Academy stood for almost 200 years before burning down in 2004.

  • When I first looked at the video I could tell it was shot right next to the Undines fire house on Bishop st
