What do you mean how many teeth do I have? I have all my teeth after my baby teeth fell out. What job on a carnival isn't a good one? They are all hard work but rewarding! When you stop and think about it, set up and tear down is the work if you work rides. The rest of the time you are an operator. Are you hungry? Do you need food, clothes, shoes? Carnival life isn't for everyone. You make it what it is for you as an individual. Carnies have many interesting stories to tell.
I miss my carnival days as well. I worked a small show in Minnesota for the summer months going back to school in the fall. My interest in the carnval started when I was very young. They didn't make toys that I wanted to play with when I was 11 years old, so I built my own from scratch. I built 25 rides that were motorized and portable. They all loaded onto and into their own trucks and trailers. The colors, lights, sights, sounds and smell of fresh spun floss, popped popcorn etc. can't be beat.

Very great video of a Carnival Tear-Down. I was a Carnie for 7 years with Farrow aka North American Midway Entertainment. I was a ride operator for rides like: (Kamikazee, Re-Mix/Oribter, Haunted House, Tilt, KMG Fireball, Ring of Fire) I dont travel the Carnivals anymore, but I still miss it and will always have the Carnival memories with me. :-)
I usually do green help for this carnival when they're in town. I went back to ride operations at new job. I've worked a KMG Fireball before at old job. I like working the slough its pretty fascinating.
