Aprion's comment is pretty much true, and yes, Blade got stabbed by both a radam and Dagger. But gee, who cares if it's impenetrable or not? He took a nuke to the face and he recovered from it, so it's useless to debate about invulnerability here, anyway. Maybe Blade just wanted to look cool falling dramatically through the atmosphere with a couple bloody gaping holes... Who knows?

His armor kicks ass. That's all we should know.
