They're two different kinds of tones.

@burlot2 Maybe buy a loud solid state amp just for practice, any small amp will struggle in a confined practice environment, it should still be perfect for small gigs though :)

@burlot2 most likely could be a couple of things. your eq is clashing with the cymbals and your disappearing behind a wall of sound, or maybe your rehearsal space is far too ambient. its all how your ears perceive sound and more watts isn't always the answer i have found. 15 watts is a bit shy if you have major tank of a drummer but i own this amp and i truly believe with 2 cabs hooked up to it i could play a club.

Great video Ola! I really want one of these heads haha. With regards to the guy saying that you make everything sound the same i think he needs to listen a bit more carefully. Youve recorded and played through 100's of really different awesome metal tones that all have there own character. Also Every guitarist will have there own sound through any amp and add a similar tone to every amp, especially if you test each amp with a similar guitar.

When actually riffing, the amp doesnt determine the sound to 100% The majority of the tone comes from your picking technique.. In my opinion at least..
